This is happening in India for decades. i am surprised it’s something new in USA.
I think it’s a great option for trying out an activity before you commit to buying all the equipment.
Absolutely!!
For fashionable people too. It’s nice changing jackets every year
I feel like I’m watching a little kid dress up in a police officer outfit watching cops.
I appreciate you watching and commenting!
My guy is back happy New Years!
Happy New Year!! Let’s goooooo!!!!
dont most of resorts and skying spots rent this to their users…like bowling places?
That’s what I would think, but it does put a heavy load on inventory management. I would tend to think that resorts owned by companies who own multiple ski resorts could shoulder those costs of stocking so many sizes etc, but not all of them.
I agree with Robert, that they need to be at the point of booking.
As for tiered pricing, not sure if it would work or not, but definitely something that he could try.
What he really needs is a logistics/inventory business partner. His inventory will kill his business if he is not careful.
One of my specialties. 😉
I hate it when people tell sád story and start acting with sad face
Agreed. I like when they are smiling and talking about their horrible sob story.
I love your video ! Hope you won’t get striked. Keep up the good work !
He should left out the part about the drinking problem.
It’s part of his story, it’s part of his experience that has led him to where he is today. Why do you feel it should’ve been left out?
The you’ll have nothing and you’ll be happy is actually the nwo agenda. It’s the wef plan to strip everyone from their belonging, it’s actually terrifying
Wow Mike. Well you aren’t alone, I’ve seen plenty of comments stating the same. We are here for each other as part of the Super Community! And I appreciate you being here!
The Fournette thing people aren’t thinking about, is….
– storage, most people don’t have a ton of room to hold winter and summer close all year round.
-Shipping/ Carrie in Bags, this take out the Carrie on price.
-This idea also takes care of the “ I’ll try a anything once idea”
-Winter is a 3-8 month season in some places.
Ways to make this idea better….
-Ways to max out the money he can get on this would be, your tier system you talk about,
-A buy now from us, (since he should be discounted at buying many unites)
-The he should also work on getting next years Latest Gear three Months in Advance.
You should provide a little bit of background about yourself in every video (especially for your brand new viewers) because it seems like you’re just reacting to these videos to market your online courses
He needs to partner up with resorts. At the point of check out of the ski lift pass or resort booking, this needs to get recommended.
Joe my man, these videos are so educational. I’m learning so much. Thank you very much!
I’m so happy to hear that you are loving and learning so much from them! Happy to have you in the Super Community!
Imo, Robert is the most risk adverse shark on the show. Maybe Barbara too. But, reports say Robert’s deals fall through after the episode more frequently than any other shark. Robert just seems so afraid to take a chance on a company. He also seems to get his feelings involved in his offers. If I were on the show, I would go in not willing to entertain doing a deal with Robert.
I appreciate you watching and commenting Joshua!
I like the idea in theory, but not so much in practice. I like that you show that he branched out to other types of kits. I’m actually surprised he didn’t advertise himself as the outdoor wear kit guy to the sharks. But the problem I see in all this is inventory hell. To Kevin’s point he was probably right you know there are one or two big name people in the space go to them see about making a deal so you’re not tied up in inventory buying it all the time. that’s the only way I would have made an offer would be contingent on getting a couple of the big brands on board whether it’s giving up some equity or not it has to be cheaper in the long term than this craziness because it’s a lot of inventory. But truthfully I think things would have went better had he pitched 25-30%. I think maybe that you would have seen some traction with the sharks maybe going for it at that rate. But personally I would not be a customer because it’s just not my thing, the idea of me going and skiing after putting a rod in my leg already not happening. But I don’t have to be a customer to appreciate a good idea.
I went to school with Forrest in New Zealand and I worked at his parents shop in Stowe Vermont . We went on several adventure together so proud of you
Lots of logistical issues. Damaged garments, unfit sizes, stinky garments. This can be done with little stores on the skiing locations instead of online+shipping, people can try on before renting, while returning if the clothes damaged there can be extra charge
His website / graphic presentation is great! Business Model real good also! The key I think is inventory. If he can find a way to buy inventory off companies that they didn’t sell the season prior etc. he might get very good deals and ppl. who rent won’t want this years top selling most expensive kit anyways.
Kit lender shipped out a children’s glove in a womens kit – wrecking our ski weekend. My fiance missed her 9 am group instruction because we were busy tracking down a pair of gloves for her. And because it was only a weekend trip – she was not able to reschedule and we were not able to ski the second day. We got 2 hours of the 4 hour class – and that was all the skiing we were able to do because kitlender failed to provide the equipment needed – they didn’t check their work prior to shipping a set of children’s gloves for an adult kit. Then – they refused to believe me – waiting until they got the kit back to discuss the resolution – they refunded us $15 of $300 rentals – rental gear we were only able to use 2 hours because of their negligence – ruining our first ski vacation. BEWARE!! They don’t care about their clients. They don’t take responsibility for their shoddy work. They don’t adequately compensate you for their mistakes. A set is a set – take away one piece and it’s worthless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away from Kit lender – there are better options. Any option is better than Kit Lender. BEWARE!!
