She should have made a deal contingent on licensing it to the big companies if she gets the patents…the sharks have done it in the past…
They probably werent interested enough to agree to wait. She also never really proved there is significant consumer demand.
Love loris dress!! I need the link! Lol
I love her style ❤
Water flossers are much better
I’m in
Love this one Joe!
Thanks Chelsey!
Great video, Joe! Some things about the website- I don’t see the point of having a “shop” menu item as that is deceiving. Currently, that is more of an about us section and then a CTA to joining their email list.
Second, they would definitely benefit from having more SEO in place (ie: biodegradable floss picks generates 300 MSV but it’s not being targeted at all).
Third, it would be great to have reviews from other dentists as well as really highlighting what environmental organizations are aware and backing the product. That type of outreach and traction isn’t visible on the site which could clearly help them!
I used to use floss until two years back, when I decided to change to water floss. It’s a better investment and does a better job, at least for me.
To be honest pharmaceuticals USA is corrupted, I can see why so many people dying..
Dr staci is great, unfortunately the matrix we live in will never merge with her ideas.
there’s biodegredable “plastic bags”, everywhere in europe now.
Well, it’s the shark tank. If you come there with a crazy valuation, non understanding of the path and ask for a teacher, investor, mentor and salesperson it’s a tough ask. I don’t mind them giving it to her straight. If she doesn’t know how to handle the business side she can get a partner who knows, but not a 500Mil Shark, it’s the wrong place to look imo. Cool product! Licensing 100% the play imo.
Who cares about plastic
I know for a fact that navy ships (aircraft carriers) throw pretty much ALL of their trash bags overboard while at sea. ☹️
My SIL is in the navy and tells me about it.
Joe the first time I watched your video I only wanted to watch Shark tank and instead I had you commenting and blocking the screen. However, I’m now probably 100 videos in and I have to say Thank-you. I realized the input you give makes the show more enjoyable (you talk to the audience and just give a civil dialogue). Really joe awesome super super job! Ding ding! Now that joe is ding ding worthy thanks again for giving your time, and I enjoy the videos it’s a great alternative from other videos and for that I gotta say keep it going!
Earth created plastic, earth will recycle plastics, years really don’t matter.
We don’t gain expertise on investors money. Company’s not ready for an investment. If she had a patent that’s interesting to bring someone on for a licensing deal but at the moment I don’t think she has the “business chops” to get it done from the responses she gave. Fair responses all round.
Dental floss is made of nylon which is a plastic. The irony is beyond me but it would reduce waste. This is a real narrow market if any where consumers would be in Portland or Seattle or San Francisco but the majority of the United States isn’t going to care about the environment that much to spend 10 or 20 cents more on a flosser that makes less waste. Sad but true.
The sharks should have done the deal contingent on her landing a licensing deal so there’s no risk on their part.
not a single sale and asking for 200k…. like seriously
water floss.
No Joe, no! You must floss before brushing and not after!
Huh, never thought about it. But yeah I guess that makes sense. lol
