Great to have you back!
Feels so good to be back!! Hope you are doing well Scott?
Good to have you back, always watch you from Nigeria.
Glad that you’re back!
F. Scott Fitzgerald, author of The Great Gatsby, is now seen as problematic. After the 2020 situation, opulence is no longer fashionable, and the branding is incorrect. I agree with the two sharks. Marketing this as premium is fine, but it should have a universal branding of decadence with fewer calories to appeal to a wider market and demographic with a less formal tone.
This stuff isn’t chocolate, and after trying a few bars, I’ve narrowed this down giving me digestational issues… looked into it and it’s a very common side effect from allulose in these bars. Yikes.
@Halesnot for everyone though, I can have allulose without issues, only time I had digestive issues was when I ate 4 pints of halo top in one night, super bad stomach cramps for 3 days straight with no relief

As a diabetic i always drink diet soda. but ive always hated diet candy/chocolate i rather do extra insulin for the carbs/choices than eat that garbage.
as a diabetic kid my mother bought me all the sugar free diet candies, i hated them as i grew up and we became poorer she no longer boughter the expensice stuff no more.
Definitely a valid opinion – we don’t disagree! We worked for over 2 years on the recipe so that our chocolate would not taste ‘diet’ at all – that would be robbing someone out of life’s greatest indulgences. GATSBY Chocolate tastes so good, you actually *crave* and want every bite, and that’s the main point beyond all the carbs, sugar, cals, etc.
What is toxic diet culture?
My dad is diabetic and very picky when it comes to diet food because it either taste “too sweet” or “too artificial” but he actually found that these bars tasted good!!that could actually be because they decided to put a little sugar in their product.
Glad you back from Thailand
Thank you SiraSam! Happy to be back, and happy you are here in the Super Community!

I love this chocolate
Glad to hear it! I appreciate you watching and commenting DueRabe.
It’s not chocolate
Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
This stuff is a gamechanger for us no-sugar sweet tooths…picked up a bunch on clearance at stop & shop (past sell-by date? I was worried it was being discontinued but thank heavens not). If the brothers get into cereal and granola it’s game over
Do they plan on rebranding their packaging/name?
great episode. thought lori was going to drop out after they moved to mark, as far as the product goes, the ingredient allulose can cause side effects!
Honestly I have never found one person that looks at the sugar or calories section while shopping in the candy area.
I have
Because they are all fat
I have too, and so do all my friends lol.
@Joe Pardo broooooo I’ve been here for ages, keep up the good work

This is just a flawed premise. Not even health nuts care about the nutritional value in chocolate bars. They’re not something you munch on daily like chips or cookies; they’re heavy and rich. And young people don’t like to see “diet” or calorie counts on food; they prefer products like ‘Sparkling Ice’ which don’t make the artificial sweeteners front and center.
Not true at all
