The algorithm seems to think I want to see your videos. lol….anyway, I’d bet its going to be some kind of joint purchase ticket or subscription. Regardless, it would be crazy for a company their size to go first.
Haha always good to see you in the comments Charles! I certainly hope it’s something more than either of those ideas. They had a subscription model (and still do with AMC Stubs) for watching unlimited movies per month, and that didn’t float so well.
I agree that it is pretty crazy to see them go down, if they don’t pull off a huge come back. But I think that largely depends on how the fall/winter go with a potential for a new variant. Fingers crossed we are at the end of this chapter.

To your point in the video, I wanted to see Bond, but I’m not ready to go sit in a theatre to see the series come to an end. So, I’m willing to wait and avoid spoilers.
The other part to this is that traditional story telling is changing. And at this point, I may too old to learn how to watch stories told the new way.

So I’ve been to one movie since March 2020, took the kids to see Peter Rabbit 2. Though we did goto our local drive in movie theater for a few movies over the last 1.5 years. When we went to see Peter Rabbit 2 there was barely anyone else in the theater with us which made me feel more comfortable.
I love Daniel Craig’s Bond and I’m not ready to see it come to an end either. 🙁
