Joe, you can’t factor in blue sky valuation, the forecast is not real yet and they did not factor in risk. The Plated subscription list would half customer acquisition. Kevin was more strategic.

@Yvette Parker You are absolutely right about Plated being a way to help them quicker. Except they are no longer with Plated (to my knowledge).
To answer your question, it would depend on the risk factor, previous proof of results, and the value of what the goal is. If the accomplished goal nets $5 million, then someone with a proven track record is more than worth it. Everything is relative.

Having millions in sales and netting so low.. I think Kevin’s valuation is fair. If I get something for 500 euros and sell it for 501 I’ll get big sales but no possibility of making profit. Its better to invest in someone who makes 400 thousand in one year for example but nets like 20%.you have to scale it and you’ll make money

Ppl hate on Kevin but I love the fact he tells the truth and when someone makes a deal with them he congratulates them and tells them they made a right choice and that he would do w.e it took to make them rich.
