I’m not doing this to sell hats. Most of the hats behind me are Philly Sports Teams hats, Pardo Fleet Solutions (my business), and 2 are mine on my shop. I do sell merch through the shop, but it’s certainly not why I do what I do.

Joe TBH I just watched this episode on my DVR and was so impressed on this pitch. Not just the emotional part of it but the smooth humor and fluently of the opening pitch. I literally pulled your YouTube channel up and was pleasantly surprised you had posted. Thanks.
I think the Fact that this guy literally invented gorilla glue. Sold it in 2016..and inked a royalty needs to be noted. The dad has cashed in on royalties of what is like on not just the net worth of his percentage of 300 million in profit since he sold. But for every one sold the gross not just the net of 300 million.
Mark the dad could have just left his work speak for its own ..hiis family his son are already well taken care of.
However he wanted to support his kid in “making his own way, his own legacy.

I am wondering what happened after this show! I mean this is TV facade but I can imagine as soon as the cameras turn-off and the real ‘due-diligent’ process occurs and whether the Shark will still comply with the agreement or eventually renege on the deal.. I can imagine that the ‘due-diligent’ process provides insight into the actual financial books of the company and eventually the deal has to be edited (which has not been shown on Air)…. Anyway, when seeing this show ALWAYS make distinction between ‘possible on-air facade’ and ‘real-time negotiation’
There’s been several times where the sharks have backed out after the episode ends. I dont think this is one of them.

The dads a smart man. Throwing in the word ethical, even if it may not be true, forces the sharks to all join in, because if they said no, then people may question their ethics.

I had the same problem as Mark with needing my reading glasses. My solution was to reinvent the tee shirt with zipper pockets. That way I can have my normal reading glasses at all times regardless of the weather. Of course I was impressed with their presentation … I hope they make a billion. I’m just saying there are easier ways to solve the same problem. I always have a zipper-tee on and cannot imagine needing wrist-wear glasses.

And the channel gets way more returning viewership than the subscriber count (that goes up everyday) shows. Not to mention, that the Youtube Copyright System doesn’t allow for that. For 110$ this is not it. Those are pair of glasses you bring everyone, throw in your bag and if you keep it at your wrist you risk losing it. Portable and cheap is how it needs to be but yeah I understand that the technology and design cost alot to manufacture.
They all saw a man they could relate to, a genuine operator who built multiple companies.
They all probably feel very real and intense fear of the day THEIR time will be past and they won’t have it in them anymore, it is probably one of the only things in life that they do fear. That’s why the connection to that story was so real.

If you talking shit on him you just a hater and small minded. 1: it was his whole intention to get all 5 Sharks on board. 2: they was offering so low of a deal that it would intrigue all of em to get involved. And 3 and the most important point of all, all 5 sharks have speciality in different aspects of the market so his son would be gaining knowledge from 5 different sections from 5 well respected and knowledgeable mentors for future endeavors. Always be looking ahead cause you can never go back.

Its so crazy to see such a low key millionaire/innovator like Singer on a show like Shark Tank. I grew up using Gorilla Glue all the time and had no idea or even cared who created it.
His son is so lucky to have him as a father. Money aside, he has decades of first-hand life, relationship, and entrepreneurship experience on speed dial.

You keep talking about reading glasses being cheap and getting them at s shop round the corner for very little money. The issue is reading glasses are prescription glasses. You might get lucky and out a pair of glasses on that match your eye sight issues perfectly but most of the time you need an eye test then an optician will prescribe the right lens
