sorry but this idea is really dumb, I mean what a point of chatting (a short one) with celebrity? Why would I want to pay for that? I would pay for Master Class since I can really learn from them rather than chatting to ask some silly questions that later doesn’t add up to anything though.

That is quite a generous offer for something that the APIs and code all exist currently to do. Bring them all together, unless you want to build from scratch but surely 75-100k could get it done.

It’s very similar or copy to Kwickie, a startup I worked back in 2018. That idea failed. It has very low retention and Engagement. I worked as data scientist for the company. The client base is usually young male and females, I don’t know how they will be willing or able to pay the amount they would be charged. Business model is very bad.

I find it annoying and will probably the challenged when Hart finds out.. but when you go to the candi page kevin hart name splashed on the page’s opening popup. Hart turned them down, I doubt he said ok, you can insinuate that I support or even liked your idea. It would be like someone putting Joe Pardo name over their homepage even tho he has no idea or support for that website

This is actually a good concept. Imagine someone in India being able to chat with their Western idols like Mark Cuban, JK Rowling or Chris Columbus. Sometimes there are things we want to convey to our idols but there’s no way we will meet them ever, or even if we do meet one ever it won’t be one on one. So I think this is a super dreams coming true enabling concept!

Cameo already exists. I know of Cameo and I know the people on Cameo.
I interviewed them (it will be out next week). And we talked about this in the interview. They have met with the founder of Cameo. Competition is always a good thing. That is like saying one social media platform shouldn’t exist because Facebook does or Twitter does or etc etc.

I admire their dedication, and the business they’ve built and the challenges they’ve overcome are really impressive. However, cheering a lack of parental leave policy, even as a joke, feels not great to me. Working the day after giving birth is not something anyone should feel they have to do…hell, even the 6 weeks you’re lucky to get here in the USA is far too little. I challenge them to have a great parental leave policy when they hire more employees. (And I know they will, since they seem really great and I am confident they’ll grow and be very successful.)
Recently went in their site. The only person I would’ve wanted to book is Kurt Angle. I barely knew their “popular” booking let alone anyone else from their other categories
