Easy way to calculate valuations
——————————————————
600000 for 4%!?
just double it or try to bring the percentage close to 10% – 1.2Mil for 8%
Multiply by 10 now – 12Mil for 80% i.e., 3Mil for 20%.
Rest of it is pretty simple – 3×5=15Mil (20%x5=100%)
Haha, I’ve been trying to get better at doing this math in my head since every video is shot in real time. Sometimes I get my addition and subtraction flipped when doing this math in my head when converting 2% to 5% and scaling up from there. Adding value instead of reducing it to go back down to the 2% etc. I’m doing my best 🙂
@Super Joe Pardo or 600k / 4% = 150k for 1%
150k x 100 = 15m
(Value/Equity)x100 = Valuation
@Joe Pardo or 600k / 4% = 150k for 1%
150k x 100 = 15m
(Value/Equity)x100 = Valuation

@Lewis Murray Happy to have you in the Super Community!! 🙂
They the editors will take shots of his face for different scene’s.
Could have done/tried 300k loan for 8% 300k for what ever percentage of the company.
Yeah, he definitely was letting it slip right through his fingers. And yeah they stand on the carpet for a while taking different looks for the editors to use. As always stupidminotaur, I appreciate you watching and joining us in the comments!
HOW do all these pitches say “i came up with this idea and i made this” and only 5 mins later says “so yaeh our competitor…” like WUT>????
@Super Joe Pardo if i visit his website, it says 25% off lol

For valuations it’s simple with certain number when anything is in the hundred thousands for 10% it’s just the number it is but in the millions like 600,000 for 10% would be 6 million dollars and if it was 5% it would double and be 12 million if it was 20% it would be half of 600,000 which is 300,000 valuation
Well the tens are, and the 5’s are. I’ve gotten better at doing it on the fly since these videos are shot in real time. I appreciate you watching and commenting!!
@Super Joe Pardo yeah when it’s gets to the 4% or or 7% it can be tricky off the top of your head

Lol absolutely! Sometimes I wish I would scrub through to find the offer first. But I think it adds to the fun of my struggles to do math in my head. I’m great at math, with pen and paper, or calculator, spreadsheet etc. but when it comes to numbers I can’t even write a phone number down that is dictated to
Me without slowing it down.
@Super Joe Pardo I kinda wish they would do what Australian shark tank did where they put how much the valuation was with the offer on the screen

Haha that would make too much sense. Once in a while they do but it should be part of the lower third ask.
What episode is this?
