My upcoming book “Sales Won’t Save Your Business” took over 2 years to develop, and you know what?

I’m SUPER proud of the work I have put in to make this my best, farthest reaching book yet.

I’m SUPER appreciative of my family enabling me to create such an amazing piece of work.

But…

What if it is a success?

What if I was able to accomplish everything or even a fraction of what I am setting out to do with the launch of this book.

• Help create and save jobs in businesses around the world.
• Help business owners, managers, sales people, and aspiring leaders to be and do better for their teams and themselves.
• Bring others closer to empowering themselves and their dreams.
• Get to work with business owners from around the world that found me because of my book.

Success can be so paralyzing and exciting at the same time. I think part of this comes from not allowing myself to get too excited so if I fail, I won’t be let down as hard.

In a conversation I had recently, it was pointed out to me that I should not be shooting for the moon. That way I won’t have that far to fall if I fail. Sure, we should diversify to set ourselves up with protection. But I always have aimed as high as I possibly can with every project I have worked on.

Disheartening to hear, but also reinforcing that my way of thinking, my way of life, my essence, my denial of fear, my denial of failure and my everlasting desire to learn from every experience will not be wavered.

This does not mean that I do not have concerns and fears of my own failure or success.

I am, as we all are, human. That comes with a complexity that robots can only have electric dreams about.

So my concerns of everything I have been working towards being a flop feel real as being a success.

I power through with my own confidence. Armed with the knowledge that I have given my all with this book, that the people who have read the book already have assured me that this book will be a success and I will do whatever it takes to get it as many hands as possible.

I’m nervous.

Because the countless hours poured into making this book a reality could be for nothing. Of course, I do have my sights set on what I have outlined as success for myself and for the release. Or it could all be successful and I find out something that I didn’t realize was there and was not prepared for.

I must stay focused on the results I am looking for as we get closer to the March 2nd launch date of the book.
