Why is he agesplaining to the sharks?!
I think he was joking?
There is an updated version to Key to the Kingdom. Unfortunately gamers would run away from this game, roll and move games never do well with hobby gamers .
I agree removing the board reduces the cost and will also reduce the cost on the box size. Which reduces the cost of freight.
To me there was no hook to the game. What’s fun about it? You move around a board and get a random number of followers. Candy Land is more complicated. lol.
I’m giving the benefit of the doubt to Tank. The editors might have clipped that out of their time together. I appreciate you watching and commenting Matt!
I like him but think he’s a clown for asking for $500,000. If he did it just for the exposure..I salute him. But if he really thinks he was going to get a shark…he’s delusional. He should’ve made it $50,000 for 50% and told them it’s gonna take a credit line to get it in Walmart.
I definitely asked for too much money. They edited it out but there’s a moment where you can see me realize this real time.
@Meme Daddies Wr all make mistakes. You’re a smart guy and have probably already learned from this one. Good luck!
So what is the reason for your valuation?
I made it the fcuk up
He needs to make it an app with little overhead build a track record then make a physical game, get influences or Spencer then to acknowledge and give it views.
This product kinda isn’t so cool, no offence. It also appears to be a game that doesn’t involve any strategy, which is pointless imo.
Good vid Joe! I like your thoughts on possibly making it a card game versus a board game. Good stuff!
18:55 interesting, didn’t think if the sayinv ib that context before
Thanks! It is a great quote/understanding by Maya Angelou that I try to remind myself constantly of. I appreciate you watching and commenting 100s!
wow just wow. @superjoe you and i had the very same first comment lol.
Monopoly is Number 4 in all time best selling. https://moneyinc.com/highest-selling-board-games-of-all-time/ I’m glad I’m not alone, and you know I love to stay positive. I appreciate you Stefan!
I started to write a fun comment, but then you started showing his website with those photos?
Not the type of influence I want over any kids, adults, dogs, nor lizards.
Often celebrities & people who are known by their on- camera image, in a controlled environment, the right script and lighting-
do very well with their image and celebrity within their arena
Once they come out of that controlled element of quasi reality? They don’t translate well in the real world.
This is very disappointing that shark tank allowed this type of thing on-clearly the ask was too much, sales were far too little, he was going for exposure and a fan who wanted to be on the show?
-I’m going to pull a Daymond John on this guy-somebody else deserves the time on that carpet.
Thank you for not clicking on those photos. I’m sure they were just silly stuff, but this is not who we want as an “influencer’
I don’t find it realistic from any aspect. First of all, the only way you’re going to get these wannabe influencers to play a board game, is if they use their devices to scan codes or somehow involve their technology.
All the energy and stickers in the world is not going to change that behavior.
I heard him mention college? There’s your new drinking game-throw in a bottle of tequila and it’ll sell like hotcakes.
I’m going to be quiet now.
Have a nice day!
That pitch made me laugh so hard. Showed the real value of influencers. He was in 1900 stores and sold 1500 units. Thats less than one a store.
I cringed at the thought of what it would say on the cards in the game
Like “do a stupid challenge and almost choke to death on cinnamon -25k followers”
Or “develop hypothermia doing als challenge”
The made up $5 million evaluation was the icing on the cake.
He made a clown of himself. No experience in sales or business. What a joke
how the hell does a already established famous entrepreneur make it on Shark Tank, but while I, a struggling minimum wage employee living paycheck to paycheck who was able to sell thousands of units of my product out of my basement with limited resources, gets rejected twice smh lol
What’s your product?
@Origins mouthwash that gives you fresh breath 24/7. Essentially, a cure for bad breath.
@S T do you have a link to your product? Let me know where I can check it out… Any YouTube videos?
@Origins I actually had to shut my company down due to FDA action so I erased everything….my amazon listings, website, youtube video and etc….but I still have the mp4 file of my informercial that I had up on youtube
@S T was product dangerous? Or did you just make unsubstantiated claims?
This game was just not very well thought out. There should be an online component that connects with his board game. I can’t answer that for him, but this is not appealing to me and I am his target demographic
I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt due to the editors maybe cutting a lot out about how the game works. I haven’t really looked into it. I appreciate you Monique!
