Campsites sell propane tanks. and theres smaller hunter (propane)tanks for deer-duck-fish. and other gases.
Of course they do have smaller ones. They didn’t come to mind, probably because of the tube being included in the box. I appreciate you as always StupidMinotaur!

I actually have two sizes of the Lavabox … great product, great company.
I ordered a cover when I ordered one of the grills and they sent me the wrong size (actually, they sent me a cover for a propane tank), I contacted them and they told me to keep it and sent me the right one.

RV ownership has grown from 7.9 million households in 2005 to over 9 million today. Over 11% of US households own a recreational vehicle and virtually every one of them has propane on board… discounting this product for the “20lb Keg” reason is idiotic.
I appreciate you watching and commenting Sonder. I forgot that you can get the small propane tanks. I think because of the tube being included and those are usually attached to the side of the grills.
No disrespect to Lori, but I am very confused that he considered her more valuable than Kevin in this instance. 2.5% more equity and a $0.75 royalty until 200k recouped is not nothing.

You are gonna laugh but I just take my gear to the car wash and spray it out after a few trips. Works great. The best part about having a real lid on the fire pit is the ability to just close it and forget it. 🙂
This is exactly why I will never cook on my lava box. Anyone with a propane grill knows that it’s 15 min to cook the meat and 25 minutes of cleaning.
the west coast is pretty big. up in seattle it rains all the time. so much for “forest fires”

You’re not really solving a primal desire. There’s something about the natural way of burning wood, the crackling of fire, and just adding more wood that is primal and hard to replicate. It’s a just a solution for portability and this is just some novelty that makes you look like you have some latest new toy at tailgating parties, etc. $195 is way too much. I thought it would be $75 bucks tops just a metal ammo can, propane feeder hose, heating element, flame adjustment, screen, dog tag, and rocks. $200?! Is it patented because this would be semi-easy to knock off and someone would gladly sell it for for $100 and still make good margins.
Oh the hose and regulator aren’t included. That’s extra $$$ too.
