I would have gone with Lori. She’s a genius with products like this. 200 for 20 is nothing if you’re getting Lori. Maybe she could have pushed it down to 18? Plus Kevin’s royalty payback is hugeeeeee. She’s literally going to be pumping out a million dollars from her company while she’s trying to grow.
200 for a million is savage. He could have said 400 or 500, a million back for 200?! How did she not negotiate on that?! Kevin is the greedy one, Kevin just played this one.
Yeah, Lori was the real path to success here. Kevin (from what I hear) has the highest percentage of deals fall through too. I could see him changing his mind before inking the deal.

If were talking specifically about the deal, and not about who has the better track record, Kevin’s deal crushes Loris unless she dropped her equity to no more than 12.5%
Kevin is essentially getting 800k off the top, because the 200k can be considered a loan without a contract
But if the company blew up and made hundreds of millions of dollars, giving up 5% of that is NOTHING compared to 25%, or even 20%

Lori is kind of the go-to shark for these products! I mean I know she’s asking for more but that’s because she knows she can sell it. This is right up her alley.

My bad.The large commercial dryers alternate spinning clockwise, then spin counterclockwise to prevent the sheet wads, do this is a great item for home use.

Despite her having arguably the biggest success on the show, Lori annoys me more and more each season. She acts like she has the entrepreneur’s best interests but she’s been one of the greediest sharks lately. For this deal, Lori was the right partner but 25% is just crazy amount of greed and so unfair considering the product’s sales and net profit margin. I get from her perspective as an investor why 25% is good to offer since she’s done this so many times and she would be able to make more money, but for the entrepreneur, despite Lori being the right partner, that’s just too much to give up. If Lori would have agreed to offer 15-18%, I would have done the deal.

At first watching you I was getting annoyed that you’d pause and comment, HOWEVER You’ve grown on me and I enjoy your opinion . I crack up watching you at the beginning because I do the same thing I act like I’m a shark with billions of dollars and I’m always yelling at the tv. Keep up the content I’m a big fan of Shark Tank! She doesn’t watch shark tank much if she didn’t see how much Laurie could have done with this product. It is obvious that Laurie was perfect for this product and Kevin won’t do anything.

I wish she had went with Lori. It’s not greed when Lori has a proven track record with the most successful products on the shark tank. I wish there was an audience poll so she could see the right choice even if she’s paying a premium it’s worth it!
