A backpack, plane ticket and sense of adventure launched my solo trek across
South America. That’s how I look at life and my career: the bravery to dream big
and motivation to try is all it takes to do something amazing.
My name is Nicole Bogard and 2 years ago more often than not I spent countless
hours dreaming about a non 9-5 office life. With graduate school wrapping up and
nothing to lose, I took a leap of faith and purchased a one-way ticket bound for
Bogotá, Colombia.
7 months | 5 countries | 10.5 bus days later I’ve returned home (United States)
and my thirst for the unknown adventures continues to command my thoughts. These
thoughts are leading me to explore my own backyard while working on self
development and future travel + adventure plans.
