It’s a stupid idea. If something happens to you and you’re in a remote area without friends or family, when something happens to you they’ll eventually know about it-they’ll do something about the pet as well.
I agree “It’s a stupid idea”
This is such a poorly executed idea. You have to trust the police to break into your house (they never fix peoples doors so your whole life will be wide open to the world for theft while you’re unavailable, and many police officers are unfortunately incompetent a d corrupt(just saw bodycam footage of 5 cops in texas stealing the items of a family they were evicting, shoving things in their pockets and jackets)
Then you have to trust that when they give your pet over to animal control after the wellness check, that they won’t mistreat or kill your dog. There are many humane societies, but too often across the country officials will default less humane options for what they consider stray pets
I appreciate these videos because I can watch the whole shark tank episode. Just fast forward past the talking in between.

@Blue Apple I appreciate you! I know not everyone watches with me and that is fine. Thank you for helping push the Algorithm so we can get these videos out to more people. 🙂

nice job Joe! enjoyed the commentary and love the channel
This seems like something people would get sick of quickly..setting a timer and getting notified if your running late on your way home..its kind of fear mongering in a way also. Like if you dont buy this app you dont love your pet. Im out lol
I can get behind something like this. Pets are frequently forgotten about and it’s a sad situation. You have to think about New York as well. A lot of people live alone and away from family. During natural disaster times I usually donate dog/pet food because humans can get food. But when you are dependent on another living thing to feed you it’s kinda needed
I love shark tank. Thank God you talk for about 90 seconds. I just fast forward 9x and back to the show
I appreciate you watching and commenting Mike. This is a business education channel.
I think its a great idea. Especially because less people are having kids nowadays so their pets are their kids. It’s only 2.99 a month or 30 dollars a year. Not bad at all for piece of mind.
I agree. I appreciate you watching and commenting Kevin!
@@SuperJoePardo I think he meant to say PEACE of MIND not PIECE. lol
Thanks for the extra insight!
I appreciate you ST123!
So they contact animal control.? Possibly the last place on earth I would EVER want my dog to be. I personally know people who’s dog was put to sleep “by accident” within hours of being picked up by animal control..
That did cross my mind. I appreciate you watching and commenting Jon!
If you don’t own or never owned a dog, you’ll never understand. I was one of those guys (long time ago) that was like man people really love their dogs and I got my puppy last year and I realized really quickly how much they communicate with you much more than when I had a cat. When I was in my graduation last year, all I was thinking about was my dog that was at home knowing he’s just sitting by the door for hours waiting for me. There’s only one thing you can’t deny whether it’s your husband or your wife no one will ever love you more than the unconditional love a dog gives you.
Exactly. Well said. Miss my former dog (and cat-) pets big time.
So it notifies authorities for a wellness check if they can’t get ahold of your emergency contacts. That’s not going to do anything. If you don’t answer the door, the police cannot just go into your house and get your pet. They would knock, and then leave.
I like PetCheck for the name of the app. I think this is a good idea but who are the people that are checking? Is it just him and a couple of friends that get alerted now? What happens if there’s like 2 million subscribers though?
Honestly he could get quashed. Just have an insurance company or maybe a place like PetCo or PetSmart offer a service like this by downloading the app. There’s no patent on setting a timer for a notification service. And there are people who would pay $10 a month.
I appreciate you Larry. This is a business education channel.
I had this idea !! Glad he brought it to fruition. If my roomate and i were in an accident together no one would know. We have no family here. Thank you sir !!!
