Updated Interview with Johnathan and Penji Review
Co-Founder of Penji and Serial Entrepreneur, Johnathan Grzybowski
Johnathan Grzybowski has been listed as Owners Magazine’s 40 under 40. He is the co-founder of Penji, a dependable on-demand design service that helps marketing teams receive unlimited custom design at a flat monthly cost. He is also the producer and host of a business and entrepreneurship podcast called The Blind Entrepreneur Podcast. It features interviews with entrepreneurs, CEO’s, and business professionals to help those who may be temporarily blind in business and guide those individuals to profitability within their company. Johnathan Grzybowski’s business goal is to empower, educate, and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. In his spare time, you can find him streaming the WWE App on his iPhone, exploring local cuisines, or trying different wines from the old world.
How Penji was Born
Johnathan’s passage was met with a ton of failure. His consistent trait of not easily giving up and continually keeping going led him to what Penji is today. After working for Apple for numerous years, he learned a lot about entrepreneurship. Having founded multiple companies before, some are still going strong, but the one thing he’s most proud of is Penji. It is his answer to the question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” He wants to help entrepreneurs and dreamers who have visions but may not have the resources for it. He and his co-founder asked themselves, how can we help more people? What they had then wasn’t answering that question. So on a soul-searching trip to Vietnam, Penji was born.
How Penji Works
Penji provides unlimited graphic design at a fixed monthly rate. For as low as $399 a month, their customers can send as many design requests in a month. They are given access to a dashboard where they will send their design briefs. This is also where they will communicate with Penji’s graphic designers. Once you write your project description, your request will automatically be assigned to the best designer for the job. After a turnaround time of 24 to 48 hours, you’ll receive an initial draft of the project. You’ll then be asked to review it and send it for revisions if needed. Aside from Penji’s unlimited graphic design, their plans also come with unlimited revisions. This means that you can have your designs revised as much as you want until you get the design you want. After the edits, you can download your designs straight from the Penji dashboard. You can now move on to the next project. All the designs you request will be yours to keep as you get full ownership of them.

Who is Penji For?
Most of Penji’s clients are individuals who have a specific need for content. Generally, Penji is for people and companies who want quality design. Penji is trying to change the status quo and the stigma of business, which is to pick from either quality or efficiency.
Their goal is to provide fast, high-quality, and affordable designs. Entrepreneurs before never had the chance to have all of these. Penji made it their mission to provide them with all three.
The following form the part of Penji’s majority of clients:
Agencies
Agencies make up the bulk of Penji’s clients. They love working with Penji as they delegate the minor tasks to them to focus on the more significant projects. Agencies like to think of Penji as their design assistant, someone to take on the extra functions.
Marketers
Marketers or marketing companies who have a regular need for the quality content benefit from Penji’s services. They have easy access to graphic design at affordable rates. All this while never having to worry about recruitment and vetting processes that come with hiring people.
Startups and Small Businesses
Penji’s cost-effective plans are the reason they’re a hit with startups and small businesses with limited budgeting. They won’t have to resort to using online templates to get logos and other branding visuals. Penji’s unlimited graphic designs help them to stand out from their competition.
Bloggers and Individuals
People who maintain personal websites or bloggers take advantage of Penji’s services. For articles that require relevant images, Penji can be an asset to them. They won’t have to use stock graphics that almost every blogger uses.
Penji Review
Penji is an excellent solution for all your graphic design needs. Johnathan’s love for Camden compelled him and his co-founder to build Penji. They wanted to bring a new renaissance and a fresh set of eyes into the city, and this, they have succeeded in doing.
Thus, proceeds from Penji go directly back to the city by hiring people within the area. It gives a platform to people who are incredibly talented but may not have the know-how or the resources to get hired. So when you sign up for Penji, not only will you be getting quality graphic designs, you’ll also be giving back to the community.
