“People’s Reality Sucks.. They Don’t Want To Be The Only One” Rich Quick

Rich Quick, grew up a dreamer and has come full circle back to living the life
he wants!

Rich Quick made a name for himself as a rapper since he was in grade school!
Going from solo to having a crew in high school taught him a lot. Especially
when he admirably decided to not leave his crew behind when a label came
knocking. Unfortunately for Rich Quick and his Rag Tag crew were left out in the
cold when the label went under. Rich Quick was left with a bad taste in his
mouth and it took him too long to get back into gear to start producing music
again.

Thanks to a phone call from Rich Quick’s best friend about how he wasn’t doing
anything with the resources he had in front of him. Rich Quick was able to find
himself a new wind to turn his sail towards! Since then, Rich Quick, has put out
a mix tape and his first EP, Sad Songz. You can listen to the entire album here
on DJBooth.net for free!

I’ve known Rich Quick for over ten years now, and I can’t believe it has been
that long since we met back in the early 2000’s in the Teen Center of the
Deptford Mall in Deptford, NJ. I am really happy and proud of Rich Quick for
taking what he loves to the next level instead of just giving up forever!

I agree with Rich Quick that people want to bring you down because they have
been brought down and they don’t want to be the only one, all alone. It is
really tough to rise above the negativity and harsh reality that others bring to
you, but it is totally worth feeling accomplished! Having so much more to show
for the years you have on this earth, rather than wasting them drudging through
life.
