You should do more live shows like this, gives your viewers a great chance to ask questions as you go. Unless I’ve just been missing them.
My question is something that often pops up on shark tank… What are advisory shares and the value of them in comparison to equity
I realise now that it wasn’t live , but you really should do them live
I remember watching this in first run prime time, as well the update. I was surprised in how this deal got negotiated and closed. This guy was such a great salesman with a terrific pitch. Thank you for the great comments, Super Joe.
@Liezel Prinsloo The shares are given instead of paying cash for consulting (advisory) services. This is done so it doesn’t change the valuation of the company. It can be a bit of a smoke and mirrors thing as it increases the likeliness of new investors wanting to come in and help with the business without changing the valuation the founding stakeholders paid for the business.

So, I’ve thought about doing them live, but I don’t want the Youtube Copyright bot to pick it up mid stream and kick me off. I will be doing more live streams in the coming weeks and of course I am live streaming every Thursday at 4 PM EST with the Business Geeks here on this channel.
The other issue is, if I did it live and interacted with the chat, it would make the videos way too long. Which is one of the reason I stopped having guest biz coaches to react to the videos on my channel.

When Lori said that it was too seasonal, is not looking at the bigger picture. Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny, or other fictional characters can easily be added. You can arrange comic book heroes, or Jack Sparrow.
I don’t think this business would be too time consuming either, with it being a seasonal business.
Yeah, I don’t see how they didn’t see the bigger picture. Unless that was brought up and cut out from the final cut of the show.
I think Barbara was the perfect shark as she has invested in similar businesses.
