what I worry about is….. if charging becomes more instant much like Gasoline is today, or Charging is self-sustainable where the need to go to a charging station is not even needed, then this business model may not be so relevant.
Could the level of need equate to Billions of Dollars of Valuation. As we speak, there are new battery technology coming about. Will the Growth of the business outpace the growth of the technology? For the founders/fractional owners, they may reap short term profits, but for a billionaire investor, wouldn’t this be quite the risky proposition?
Definitely a concern, but there are companies out there filling gas tanks in parking lots for employees of companies. So I think there will still be some level of need for it for years to come. I appreciate you watching and commenting FoBy PaWz!

What exactly do those 4% in advisory shares do for Cuban/Lori?
The shares are given instead of paying cash for consulting (advisory) services. This is done so it doesn’t change the valuation of the company. It can be a bit of a smoke and mirrors thing as it increases the likeliness of new investors wanting to come in and help with the business without changing the valuation the founding stakeholders paid for the business.
Super Joe, I believe that those advisory shares would convert to equity if there is an acquisition of their company. Correct?
That is a great question! I believe that that there is a scenario where that is the case. I’ve talked with some lawyer friends and even they have told me that the advisory share offer can be complicated. Lending me to think that it really comes down the language of the individual agreement.
Love your videos!
Glad you are are loving them Shivanath! I appreciate you watching as always!!
If I were you I’d put things like 3:16 at the end of the video because whenever I hear you say this it makes me think that the video is over and I have to skip through it to get back to the video. Constructive criticism.
AND it would make your fans have to wait until the end to see if they got in the video.
I replied in the other video. 🙂 I appreciate you watching and commenting King!
@King Of Everything Thank you!! 🙂
Love the video!!!!!! Great breakdown of the episode.
Thank you!! 🙂 I appreciate you Joshua!
I don’t agree with the comment that Lori was a bottom feeder on this deal. She already has her foot in Pep Boys with her Drop Stop, and I’m sure she focus on her quick to market strategies to get sales right away, especially for a portable unit. If Mark was interested enough he would not have included Lori so he knows tge value she’ll bring. Their biggest obstacle I see is time. But I don’t think Elon Musk is in a big hurry to put a charger out on the consumer market. I enjoyed your insights on this one a lot. Thanks, Joe.
Glad you enjoyed it! Definitely some great thoughts on this pitch! I appreciate you TJ!
It definitely is a real thing, I’ve only had that feeling once with my Chevy Bolt. But I could’ve easily stopped to charge up for 10 minutes and I would’ve been more than fine. It was 1 AM and I wasn’t trying to take any longer than I already needed to, to get home. lol
One minute for one mile? That has to change or the electric car will never catch on, at least not in America. People here do not have the patience for that.
Telsa Superchargers can add up to 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes. So they do, but their solution is to replace the charge they used to get to work (normal commute).
Bruh, can we stop with the broken glass sound. You freaked me out lol!
Good videos though
Innovative and Assembled in the USA. Interesting.
Definitely! I appreciate you Kyle!
just waiting to see what the consumer version looks like and when it’ll be available
Electric cars are great but so unrealistic right now. And I say that because you go ahead and try to plan a road trip with an electric vehicle.
As someone who has had both a Chevy Bolt and now a Tesla Model 3 Long Range. The Tesla charging network is king and I have several friends who have travelled all over with their Tesla. The charger that the Bolt uses and every other car uses, can’t charge nearly as fast and you have to patch work charging stations with Electrify America or one of the other apps to make it work, definitely far from ideal.
@Joe Pardo but even the Tesla the max distance is what 360 maybe 400 miles. So let’s say you drive that until you’re empty then the quickest charge is like what 7hrs to get maybe full. If you’re driving from Florida to New York how much longer is that going to take you over a gas car

So, it’s about rewiring how you think about distance. You wouldn’t drive until empty. You drive until the “next” charger. And you only charge as you need to make the next charger that is the furthest distance away. Charging to 100% only makes sense at the start of a trip. One of my closest friends has drove from Tampa to Philly 3 times and each time has only had to stop 3 or 4 times along the way to charge. Charging 20% to 80% takes around 15 minutes. In that time they went to the bathroom, got food and stretched their legs for the next 300~ leg of the drive.
Unlike a ICE vehicle you only charge what you need to get you to your next destination. And then charge when you are able to inbetween for daily driving.
@Joe Pardo idk. Seems like a lot of stops to make. But we will see I guess

You know why they are out ? Because these millionaires wanna feed off of the low end ppl and hesitate with a deal with middle class. But because this is middle to high class they hesitate on it… tell me I’m wrong.
Now look at this shit .. the auto market planned for 2025 to have all electric cars.. still dumb af but the move took longer its coming tho so this was a smart move.. dumb af on the auto part because these electric cars DO NOT PROTECT YOU. Instead make accidents worse
I totally get their business model however, if I has an electric car (I don’t pretty much because of this EXACT anxiety actually…) I would want to own MY OWN even if it was smaller, for emergencies etc…..like the portable battery chargers for a car you can buy retail. Equivalent to having a couple gallons of gas stashed-imagine it were an add on like a spare tire in a car is currently…under the trunk. The very least, dealerships could have it as an ad on at least for included roadside assistance with either them or AAA etc. Just leased to a company sort of sucks for the consumer…sure its a necessity, but man, consumer access would be so amazing.
