since they have limited/not a full line of their own products having a face cleaner that is good for your skin is still a valid product to offer: for other makeup the customer may use. also you may want to clean off any type of makeup with something like this vs normal face wash or soap perhaps (i have no clue lol)

They really need to get people who have made it big on Shark Tank, come back as a guest shark. It doesn’t matter if they got a deal or not, but those who appeared on ST should be asked to come back, if they have made millions.

I don’t buy their claims. You can’t sleep with makeup on. You need to wash your face before going to bed even if you are not wearing makeup because of pollution and so on.
There are thousands of “natural” beauty lines. Being natural doesn’t mean is non comedogenic (aka doesn’t mean it doesn’t cause pimples and so on).
I would like to know more about the science behind it.
Also, if that’s the reason to buy it, without a full line the products are kind of useless.
If you don’t have a foundation why would you need a primer and setting spray? Just for the blush? And if you use another’s brand foundation you would need to remove it before going to bed.
Also the “ph activated blush” has been around since I was a child. Usually in form of lipstick. It’s sort of bs because the ph of skin doesn’t really varies that much and the ph isn’t necessarily correlated with the color of skin. So the blush doesn’t really adapt to be the best color for you because of the ph. It’s just a sheer blush and for that reason is more universal. It’s an old gimmick, goes from green to rosy.
Lately, everything about the beauty industry has been about transparency and educating the customer. The sales point seems a little outdated.
I like her explanation at the end about the pollution and seems more sincere to sell it as makeup that acts like skincare (although many brands are sort of doing that). It’s not as flashy but in the long run those other claims might come back to bite her.
From what I understand the primer and setting spray are for when you use another brands foundation in order to protect your skin. And for the blush I agree with the pH claim being suspicious as everyone has a similar pH, so the shade won’t be as different on different skin tones. What I do like about the product is that it is suppose to be completely natural, as in it isn’t harmful to your skin so you don’t NEED to remove it to go to bed, if you use it by itself. But if you are wearing concealer or foundation then it’s another story. What I find interesting about their brand is that having makeup that by itself isn’t inherently harming your skin is pretty interesting, as most things on the market have irritants that cause breakouts. So yeah I do like the concept of the brand but I agree that they can be a bit more transparent with some of their claims.
