I’m confused. Mark said he wants part of Daymond’s deal but didn’t shake their hand at the end. Was Mark not a part of that deal?
No Mark was not in the deal. I think he said he would only sell some of their hats with the Mavericks logo in one of their sports gear stores at the Mavericks arena and see how it goes
Daymond only went up 5% on their evaluation? What’s there to negotiate? They knew they had to give up more equity (5% more) with only 30-40k in sales
It’s a funny gag, like wearing a teams number one finger, but overall dumb, even worse it takes up someone’s view behind them, seems goofy

They didn’t want it for the money, they did it to get the marketing and doors open for them
Yeah it’s a genius idea and I can see more stuff for it like maybe pokemon cartoons etc for like it’s perfect for that or if your in college whatever but if I was a shark I let them listen even if I had an offer tho I would warn that maybe my deal will turn a little bit greedier lol

I met this guy on a GCU HS Tour and he was nice and very intrested in talking about how the program that allowed him into the business. Super chill and even let us take pictures with some of the hats.
