They rarely if ever promote from within, though.

@Super Joe Pardo On top of that, new hires will only be making pennies less than seasoned vets. I worked for them for 7 years ending in 2020. With all the raises, I’d only be making just over $12 an hour. New hires start at $12. Every area of the country has a different pay scale. If you’re making $15 an hour in NYC and you transfer to a store where I live, they cut your rate because it’s cheaper to live here.

Yeah so like I’ve seen with other jobs, it’s a shell game of talking about raises but not actually I giving raises.
