Thanks for what you doing my Man
You’re welcome! Happy to have you in the Super Community Toretto!
I think the structure of this deal doesn’t make sense. Because let’s say the break point is 5M sales, then the shark will have all the incentives to prevent that from happening(unless it can go way beyond 5M, which isn’t likely to happen). And if she just take on more investments, advertising and stuff just to make the sales target, it’s not healthy for the business either.
She said she’s projecting to hit 6mil next year that her natural projections without a shark. So unless the Shark is “sabotaging” her efforts she wouldn’t need their assistance to hit 6mil.
@be witness Sure. But if you are so confident you can grow and explode on your own, at that point you can get any VC to make a deal like that. There really isn’t a point getting a shark since it cost more and you are incentivizing them against offering other help to you with the deal . But I guess the publicity and making a deal on TV is worth it enough.

@Azura any Vc Isn’t the same as a shark and you know this. This show has bought a certain level of stardom that you don’t get with any VC. That’s why sells for a lot of these businesses explode the day they are on the shark tank. How many businesses are eager to make a deal with one of the shark’s so they can also get some of that additional exposure? The sharks have become rock stars of the business world. Because of which people who do business with them partake in that same popularity.

I think the product and price don’t make sense. Why would I pay $50+ for what’s essentially decorative food?
the billions of other people on this planet may have a different opinion
Bro, if you come here to gulf countries like Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, bahrain spending $50 on food decorations is NOTHING! At My sister’s bd last month we spent $80 decorating the cake+writing her name on it
I love the bits where Joe doesn’t talk
I appreciate you Ali. What is your motivation for posting the same comment to several of my videos?
@Joe Pardo probably a bot.
@Rani Ay It hadn’t crossed my mind because the comments have been varied, and not identical.
Yet you continue to watch his videos
Are you confusing does and doesn’t?
I love the bits where Joe *does* talk.
I think its a cute idea for bachelorette, birthday, college grad partys, weddings, etc. Also i personally love that they aren’t hard nasty grandma cookies lol.
Thank you Jeff!
What’s that red dot on your forehead? Is there a sniper filming you ?
Just kidding Man, I really appreciate your work. A LOT of love from Morocco!
Ok I’m going to have an oreo now
Can she buy that machine someone else for a lower cost ?$$$$$
Somewhere else
I actually love that you previewed this on your channel this is actually a great idea, I’m going to be placing a order soon to try some.
I’m surprised Mr. Wonderful didn’t offer anything. I would have thought that with his Wicked Cupcakes, he would have been interested in this.
But, I think Robert was a good shark for this. He was definitely interested in it, hence the flexibility.
I would love to see a cookie in the shape of a podcast microphone. Thanks for the video. These business lessons are ICONic!
(See what I did there??)
Cost of goods for eggs and butter have been expensive since covid. I believe the machine is to probably cut labor. I cant imagine the headache of transporting these.
Dirty Cookie is still active and booming. Shahira recently made a deal with Nuts n More, a company that appeared on Shark Tank and received an investment from Robert. Since appearing on Shark Tank, Dirty Cookie has made four times more sales than it used to. Today, the company’s net worth is estimated at $10,000,000.
Really?? I can’t find them on instagram though

I wish they didn’t have to add a sob story to every freakin’ pitch. I understand that people have overcome difficult circumstances to own their businesses, and that’s impressive and they should be commended for that….but when every single pitch contains that strategically deployed sob story right when negotiations are headed south, it’s just so tiresome and predictable.
Usually it’s on the longer pitches (2 per episode) that include more of the back story. I appreciate you being a part of the Super Community!
Is it patentable? I’ve seen so many diys on YouTube, Pinterest and tiktok so it’s not new…
Seen another episode with a similar deal and they convinced the contestant NOT to do a deal where the equity starts high, and drops off later if a goal is met, because the shark would have less motivation to do work because they want the higher equity
Robert gets 25% equity, which drops to 15% equity NEXT year if she meets her 5 million dollar goal. Now Robert is incentivized to not help her out until after next year so he can keep the 25%, if he wanted. It sounds like a scum thing to do but business is business
Yeah, definitely less incentive. But that would also mean that the entrepreneur is crushing it and doesn’t need the same level of help. I appreciate you Poaching Bear.
Bro just let us watch the episode dude we don’t need your input on something we are watching ffs these youtubers…
I appreciate you watching and commenting Jonathan. This is a business education channel.
