Thank you! We are just getting warmed up. There is current 7,000 returning viewers to the channel. So it’s only a matter of time before it really starts popping off. Supers Unite!!
I was going to buy the straw until i heard the price.
20 bucks for a straw!? Damn! I get the idea of the innovation but, realistically, is expensive (for me at least)
It’s definitely not cheap, but I feel it is justified if you use it day in and day out. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
@Super Joe Pardo Agree with you. There are people buying Starbucks silicon straws for way too expensive for silicon straws. This product is way better.

I hate this product. There are other products on the market in this category for less.
Oh? Is there one that you can recommend? I appreciate you watching and commenting Lauren!
Stupid lady… should have taken marks offer!
Dude, awesome videos. May I know what software you use to embed one video in another video?
Thank you Rohit, I appreciate you watching and commenting! Welcome to the Super Community! 🙂
OBS
Better energy might have been spent redesigning the fast food soda cup where most plastic straws are used.
Quite possibly! But there is still a need for straws to be reduced as a whole. I appreciate you watching and commenting Weston!
15kx10=115k lol. Good video
Haha thank you! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
I’m actually on this same ship at the moment. I have a kit with complete utensils and a set of glass straws (different diameters) with me all the time. I also think $20 is too much. I got mine (set of 4 different straws for about a dollar. It’s already out there. It’s just missing this fancy case.
EDIT: I just did a quick search on my go to local online store. They do have this straw, with a case. It’s only $1.84 (converted).
Oh wow, that is really cheap for the case with a straw. I wonder how long that will hold up comparatively.
@Super Joe Pardo yeah that’s definitely the big question. Although I’ve been using mine since the onset of the pandemic and they’re still in good condition to this day.
I might have missed it in the video, but did they say if they have a patent for it?

You are reviewing shark tank and you struggled multiplying 15,000 by 30??
lol my videos are shot in real-time with minimal to no editing. And sometimes I don’t get it right, especially when it comes to math in my head on the fly. (I am working on getting better at it.) Rather be genuine than perfect. I appreciate you watching and commenting VM!

Please do your research. The product was ripped off by factories in China within weeks of their kick starter. There is a news story about it.
I found an article talking about it. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/zahrahirji/reusable-metal-straw-scam
These videos are more about reaction and advice for entrepreneurs than researching the background of every business. I do appreciate you watching and commenting V M.
@Super Joe Pardo I think maths talent is both something you learn and something you inherit. Is it possible for people to have maths skills as advanced as Stephen Hawking, or Albert Einstein? I don’t think so. But, do I think it’s possible that you can learn maths to physics level (not astrophysics).

they were not there to take any offer. They were there to pitch and get publicity.
Possibly. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Not at all. Then why didn’t they mention shark tank on their website? They really wanted an investment. The problem is they think the sales in kickstarter are actual sales so they based their equity on that while the sharks know that it isn’t what it seems
maybe plastic should not land in the ocean to begin with. thats what irks me a bit about the whole discussion. Also, reusable straw sounds good in theory, until you realize you have to wash it, and if you dont, you’ll not enjoy using it again
Strawlights..I would buy
Did you say seamseas at 2:57
As a fisherman of 20+ years experience. I live in Miami, FL and fish all over Florida. I have never seen a straw or a piece of plastic in a fish’s nose, stomach, throat. The odds of this happening with the turtle is so incredibly rare. Think of how hard it is for it to happen. I’m all for less plastic in the ocean but this is all a scam/cash grab at a “problem” that’s not that big of a deal.
While I’ve only been out fishing a couple times in my life. I did grow up around boats, my dad has always had boats. The amount of trash I have seen over the years at the docks at Atlantic City, NJ and Ocean City, NJ during low tide at the docks has always been super disappointing.
I agree, it likely is not super common or you would see a lot more videos like that one go viral.
The bigger issue is the plastic and trash breaking down into the ocean and being ingested into fish bodies and then being eaten by humans. I don’t know if it is over blown currently or if it is about stopping the current situation from continuing to get worse and worse to the point where it is no longer safe to eat seafood or swim in our oceans.

I agree In some part. The plastic straw thing is a little bit ridiculous and of course there are a lot of money grabs disguised as good causes. The oceans right now are probably full of masks and covid plastic single use auto testing kits. Also everyone stopped using plastic and now use paper and derivatives which completely devastate our forests. Trees aren’t important anymore? But there is one thing that is undeniable, the oceans are getting fucking polluted with all the one use only stuff
The turtle thing will probably have been staged by the climate activists
Lies yea rite trash in the sea everywhere
Fine for keeping in car for drive thru, but how to clean, a straw retains fluid, the metal sold now have pipe cleaner type implements with.
I agree, it’s one of the obstacles with having your own straw if you aren’t going home right after. Just another step to think about. I appreciate you watching and commenting Dorothy!
Look I like the design but it’s way too expensive. Then your dealing with education issue. Then your dealing with asking companies where Plastic straws are banned in certain cities too spend a ton on the product. Then my other issue is your asking the consumer to what a carry around and remember to bring there straw with them. I just couldn’t see myself doing that. Perhaps if way the hell more affordable, I could see restaurants making an investment but even then if I was owner I would say screw it I will forgo buying straws period and save myself a little money. So I don’t know, I just try to be very fiscally responsible and I see this as an extravagance. Plus I know for a fact it’s Plastics in general that are the issue and the fact it’s not cheap to recycle is my issue.
i need to know where they got the straws to demonstrate this shit. plus fuck the yuppie and doofus eyed ceos…
They have nothing to sell more than other people and to come and ask for $23000000 is very stupid 8:26
A whole lotta straws!
the customers legit have their resuable straws so if they made 2 million in 2 months but with no repeat customers in the future wouldn’t that number go down? This market is definately a NICHE cause who has time to remember to clean and brings straws with you everywhere you go
I have this straw and love it. The inside has a flexible silicone-like straw that bends easily when folding the metal straw for storage/travel. It’s easy to clean with a straw cleaner (like a pipe cleaner)
Cool product
That was cold. One one counter, he just went out? After he’s the guy that said “always counter”- that’s why she had such an attitude about it. Ok, thank you. 13:15- kinda messed up but not a winning product
