Only problem I find with this product is whenever I’m in a video call there usually is a mute button within the application itself, just comes down to the users keeping track off it. It is not that hard to see that you are not mute because there are indications. Plus if you don’t want someone to hear something, how about go off the video call. Also I agree with you that $40.00 for this product is to expensive; users can mute for free can’t beat that.
It is more a convenience since most of the applications Teams, Zoom, etc. has a mute feature, this one is a more direct function and easier function to mute. It seems to be more obvious when you are muted. It might save a little time instead of searching for the mute function on these applications. I admit sometimes I have had trouble finding the mute feature on some of these applications.
I guess it comes down to the customer if the convenience of muting is worth the 40.00 dollars.
As I stated in my video, I used to use a dedicated XLR mute button when I used my Shure sm7b XLR microphone. And that probably was 40$ or so, but it was built like a tank. Lol
For people who are doing calls all the time I can definitely see it being worth the money and desk real estate. For casual users, probably not so much. And Zoom has added features like being able to prompt other people with a big button to unmute themselves.
I appreciate both of you watching and commenting!

+Hungry Refrigerator I am on a lot of Zoom calls for work, and some times there are 50+ people on the meeting. There’s always that one person who starts talking when they’re on mute & they sometimes go on for over a minute with everyone trying to tell them that they’re muted. It wastes a lot of valuable time. Some people need a bright flashing light to let them know. Also, there are many times when I minimize the meeting window, I have my headphones on (so I can still hear the meeting), and I’m looking up some information in another tab or browser. Then I have to sneeze or burp or my phone starts ringing. I have to get out of the webpage I’m on, go to the task bar find the Zoom icon, open it, it’s on mini, expand it, and then hit “mute”. A big button next to my monitor would just be more convenient. I agree the price is too high, but I would pay $25 for a button like that, and heck I’d probably pay $40 for it too. I’m in a lot of virtual meetings.
You sir… are so Wrong…. A Ton of times, having a PHYSICAL … EXTERNAL … TACTILE … GLOWING BUTTON….. is FAR FAR BETTER
ADD,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,MAX!……………..VOLUME CONTROL

I think you have hit most of the market on the head. The only one I would add is Boomer generation wanting to have a physical mute button for their calls. I appreciate you watching and commenting!!
If they sell it below 5-6 $ And make it for 1.5$ They will be Pretty decent
That would certainly sell WAYYY better, but I don’t believe that is the market they are going. I appreciate you watching and commenting Rohan!
Can try to make your screen box smaller so we can see a better view of the program as your view box takes at least 40% of the screen
I appreciate the feedback Ishtiaq. Due to the YouTube Copyright Bot this is the best I’ve been able to get it without having to stop the video every 15 seconds. Otherwise I will have to blur the video… A lot like in the past. I appreciate you watching!
The conferencing browser like Skype, Zoom, Teams should be able to just have a box around your picture that is read or green that tells your mic status. It’s an easy add on so I don’t see the benefit in this. Great idea though.
Wrong !!
For how much were they selling it in the kickstarter? Probably discount price
Hey Jo! I am a new listener, I have watched several of your videos and greatly appreciate your input and opinions and breaking down. For this product I wanted to ask, I feel like they can integrate this product into many uses outside of conference calls and remote work. My head is thinking for psychologists and medical practices being used in some sort of way. I am also thinking this can easily be integrated into some sort of game or board game in which you can use with friends.
Hey Albert! Just seeing this comment. Happy to have you in the Super Community! Glad you are enjoying the channel!
Needs to be built into my mouse!
If you have a higher end Logitech you could bind a button to it. But yeah that is a good idea for most people. I appreciate you watching and commenting Mike!
Just mute the physical mic; much easier.
If your mic has that ability, sure. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
i work at staples and bought mine today at $3 on clearance, im loving it but i think the price was just much
Wow $3 is a steal! I appreciate you watching and commenting Sahil!

I agree way too high on the price even with advertising and marketing that would not be some thing I would take a double glance at in the store because of the price point. I like the concept I like how it lights up but major turn off the price!
Yeah, it’s unfortunate. But a perfect clearance opportunity. :-/
