Probably better that he doesn’t. These videos would be taken down instantly.

Was she getting a salary at least?
That is a very good question! I wonder if that was mentioned, but was cut. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Right? He could say he was under duress (pressure) to do it. I would hope that Mike wouldn’t. I appreciate you watching and commenting as always! 🙂
Even without the pressure, there’s (very) arguably no consideration and therefore it’s just a gratuitous promise, rather than a legally binding contract.
And thank YOU for the shark tank vids!
That’s a fair point that I’m sure some lawyers would love to take a bite into. Let’s hope that isn’t the case. And you are so welcomed! 🙂
Have you also started covering more of the screen with your box or is that just my eyes, haha. Love your commentary though!
The last several weeks have been the same layout. lol 🙂
Haha, cool! Lol.
The dragons den folk have always been hyper greedy ans irrational with their ask, I’ve noticed this is comparison to the sharks over years. These dragons always come across with entitlement, pride, ego and greed.
I wonder if that is why many people I’ve ever talked to about Dragon’s Den has always had a negative view of the show. I appreciate you watching and commenting R P C!
@Super Joe Pardo appreciate you taking the time to respond my man. And yes you’re right, the den just feels like you’re watching a group of elitists nickel and dime honest, hard working business owners. In the tank however the sharks have a heart. Sometimes you see fellow sharks discouragi business owners from giving away too much equity.

@R P C Of course! I’m doing my best to keep up with the comments on this rapidly growing channel. (Good problem to have.)
The Sharks absolutely do have a heart and capture a magic over the last 13 years, it’s pretty crazy. 🙂

@R P C having watched every episode of both Shark Tank and Dragon’s Den I can tell you you are just plain wrong. In the early day on Shark Tank investors would often ask for 50% or greater, that is almost unheard of on Dragon’s Den. I love both shows and Shark Tank is my favorite but your strange bias is unsubstantiated.

screw sweaters make toilet paper here with it in the U.S.
This is a good idea. We have way too many clothing brands that all die a death. Hardly anyone has the money to buy these jumpers.
The sister is gorgeous business woman and beautiful that’s a catch!
I hope she was able to secure her piece of the company. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
How do you manage to not have these blocked by youtube?
I agree. I would slap all of them. If you watch some of them with an old hag it’s revolting. It’s rather build a business on my own and take 1 million from those goons who nickel and dime. I’m shocked that people even see them for a deal. Literally watch dragon dens and it’s said. They act like they’re better and look down on you because they have more money it’s sad. The only person who’s better is someone based in their character and their virtue that’s it. Thinking you’re better cause of money is sad and ignorant. I would literally take a dump in the middle tell the dragon dens to eat it and tell them to shove their offer up their arse.
I appreciate you watching and commenting Geoff! Happy to have you in the Super Community!
I have seen 20+ of your videos on shark tank, and you always invite the people to come to an interview. Number of times I have seen an interview video you did recommended to me by youtube algo: 0

I can’t tell if he was joking about venture capitalist
I swear to god if the roles were reversed no one would bat an eye. Political correctness has over corrected to the point that now women dominate at a ratio 60/40 in college enrollment. People just need to STFU with personal opinion and focus on the numbers.
Women don’t make money in college
Leoni, do you have some studies to back up what you are saying? Otherwise it sounds like you are spouting personal opinions as well.
Aside from full ride scholarships and now college athletes getting promotional deals (finally). No one does, to my knowledge.
She’s doing more than 10% of the work, working at another job and probably not getting a salary from her brother…. He should want to give more than that measly percentage gender aside
@nasara Based on what was shared, there is nothing he “should want to do”. He happens to own 100% somehow. In most businesses, ownership is held by a few who make most of the $$$. Others do significantly more work but get paid far less. I’m not saying it is right. Just how it is. That said, assuming they started the business together, did the work together, but he convinced her to put him as the 100% owner, then I would agree with you on the “should”. The guy does seem like a bit of a douche. Could be the look of the sweaters. The preppy prick look… Could be why people might think he tricked her into giving him 100% ownership.

Given that they are on the floor for around a hour, and it is cut down to 8-10 minutes, I’m sure there are lots of stories that are told and wind up being cut out from the show. I appreciate you watching and commenting Roldan Elvis!
Definitely takes a ton of confidence to shoot that down. I appreciate you watching and commenting Andrew!
how dare they intrude on their relationship and how its divided up. that’s none of their business and it became a moment of woman empowerment because of Laurie asking it. im not saying she shouldn’t have been apart of the equity sense but that’s just shameful to put that man in that kind of position on television in front of millions to see. i even felt that the wife was just playing along and felt partially offended as well.

He’s getting off cheap too considering she’s definitely doing more than 10% of the work for growth.
If they went to shark thank to ask for the shark’s money then the sharks get to make comments about the company. The sharks are investing not only in the product but in the people that are behind it. They will form a relationship with the entrepreneurs and they also weight in if the entrepreneurs are people they would enjoy working with.
The sharks always ask personal questions and intrude on the founder’s life. They ask why they don’t quit their job’s, they ask about their family relationship and other deeply personal questions… do you think this is how normal meetings usually go? No. People dont cry and tell deeply personal stories. Ultimately they are also trying to stir the pot, create entertainment for the tvshow and get a better sense of who they might be getting into business with.
If I was a shark I would wonder about this guy and why the sister is not a partner. She seems incredibly educated and honestly performed better on the pitch than the brother (you could tell the sharks didn’t really like him).
I wouldn’t invest in a company where I see there is an unfair relationship between the founders. The sharks don’t need to invest, they are well off with or without them.
And finally, historically many woman have put a lot of work behind many successful man without getting equity or recognition. Historically many woman don’t even feel empowered to ask for equity or recognition. Margaret Keane? Don’t act like this is not a reality
This happened in my family, in my college class and in my current workplace.
The shark never said “you need to give her equity otherwise I’m out”. He encouraged her to stand up for herself and made room for a conversation that clearly needed to happen. The brother said he felt it was fair to give her equity – in your line of though – he could just have stood up for himself and said “no” if he didn’t want to give her anything.
Good Content, but your minimized screen is way too big when the show is running. Can you resize to allow us to see more.

How can oyster shells be used in clothing when the shells are 95% calcium carbonate?
You can use them to be one of the ingredients of concrete by burning them, there is no inherent fibers and elasticity to calcium carbonate to even have any sort of presence in sweaters.
Treat with acid to remove minerals including Calcium c
The sisters equity exchange was a little odd I felt at some moments that he was being bullied and that they were treating her like she can’t stand up for herself. If she wants equity on the company she can ask for it and if he doesn’t want to she can just stop helping him, or is she a hostage? I didn’t like that seemed like they were trying to act like justice warriors for the cameras. About the sweater.. I think Marc’s idea would probably make for a better business model without changing the mission
I disagree. While I understand your point. This brother is greedy and not a person that’s reasonable. you can tell… all of the sharks gave him solid advice and he didn’t listen, he just dismissed it, almost like he was tied to a script. I think his sister is the brains behind this operation. she should have been negotiating from the get go. I’m glad she FINALLY got something.

Hmmm might be an issue with the YouTube editor. I’ll take a look at it this weekend.
Peter wanted half of the guy equity. After giving girl 10, he asked 45%
I love me up some Peter Jones, but he needed to check that Dragon’s Den mentality at the door for this one. It’s pretty much a given on Dragon’s Den that any offer will be for double or triple the equity asked for, so he was probably very confused by the outraged disbelief when he made his offer lol
She deserves at least 49%….
I donot like seeing you, taking up the the screen. and comments, too much. I just want to watch the show.

I believe in your business but i want you give up control of your business to your sister and i for $375000. Good job by the guy holding on to his company.
The one thing that I learned as an entrepreneur is that you have to be open-minded in order to be successful but not only that, if remain unmovable by not not being open to other people’s ideas you will always lose out in a big way. It appeared that he almost secured a deal with Mark but lost out in a major way because he was close-minded!
I could not agree more D Carlock!!
I’m downsizing my entire apartment of too many clothes by donating them. I’d like to be able to travel on a boat or cruise one day…$125.00 a sweater? . I buy my sweaters from JC penny clearance rack and after seasons.
