Also this family stole the idea from WAHOO Bully Boards. Wahoo let this family Demo this boards at their surf contest in 2019 the boards in the contest was not Tandem boogies, the boards were all WAHOO boards.. this family too 2 of the boards home to Demo(test it out) them boom this family stole the idea and now claiming it as their own idea! Shame! Wahoo board are the original creators of this boards. Just another person stealing others ideas to make a profit! Sad! If you want a trustable board buy a WAHOO board. We us it here in Hawai’i. Some of the Wahoo board was created by famous surfers and Waterman of Hawai’i. Don’t trust a board from someone who stole a idea off of someone who was letting them use the board.

Aloha. I just wanted to let you know the truth about this family. So they stole this idea from WAHOO BOARDS. Wahoo boards let this family Demo boards yes that look like this (but better). Wahoo let them us the boards and let them test it out at their surf contest in Cali in 2019. Well not only did this family use and steal a photo of my brother Nalu on a WAHOO board from my papa Bufflo Keaulana long board surfing classic contest to advertise their own contests as if the photo was of their contest and using tandem boogies. So just wanted to let you know This family did not come up with this idea. The stole it and trying to claim it!. Go look up The original creators of this boards they called WAHOO bully boards. We in Hawai’i was using big boards like this for years already. Or lifeguards water safety guys in Hawai’i been using this boards. This family claiming they came up with this. But we have proof they we was using this boards way before them also I know the guy who showed them this boards and even let them us it. Shame how this family claiming this was all their idea.

I found it really interesting that the Tandem patent is for the placement of the handles and not the inflatable board part.

Your welcome. Yeah I just looked at some of their videos and they also claiming they came up with the idea of “tandem” meaning two people on the board at once. Also a lie. We was Tandem surfing back in the ancient days and tandem BULLY BOARDS back in the 80s. So how can he claim he was thinking about tandem boogies in the 2000s and it was his idea. Well my friend who is from Wahoo is the one who showed this guy about tandem BULLY BOARDS. Tandem Boogies even used our boards in their contest. So yea. As I look up more video I jus get more mad…. our Wahoo family worked hard on the creation of this type of boards. Oh yea and the handle designs actually was originally created for our lifeguards in Hawai’i. The big boards this the ones Wahoo designed had to have handles on the board and the board was attached to the back of a rescue Jetsky to hold on when they save people. Just some history on this boards and the original reason for the handles that was created in the early 80s in Hawai’i. People need to be educated more. Because other like to claim things that they know have already been done. Yes tandem boogies know what they did but they seen a money opportunity and ran with some else hard work.

Here is a video Wahoo made 10 years ago. Also they did not come up with the placement of the handles. Not their idea. They just trying to make money off of someone else idea. I watched the video and his daughter said they came up with it! Haha that’s a lie. And we have proof.

I think the point is it doesn’t matter if somebody had the idea of not if it’s not patented it means nothing. Plus I seriously doubt they were directly ripping this off. Ok you find some video it seriously means nothing. All you demonstrated is somebody else had the idea but unfortunately didn’t protect there idea with a patent. Too assume nobody else would have that idea is kind of ridiculous. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had an idea in construction and it turns out wow what a surprise somebody else had the same idea. Bottom line even if they did know about it it’s all about the patent unfortunately.
@Hollis Jensen Bullyboards sponsored the Ocean festival in 2019 which is before 2020 WHERE THEY APPLIED FOR PATENTS….there is video of him and his family on the boards inflatable and hard versions created by Bullyboard. Not a problem having their own stuff but they cant say they created something or innovated something when they have pictures of boards and gear years before from an established company

They said that when their daughter was 6 months old they always knew they wanted to start a business together. And at that point they opened a shelving business which makes 1.2 million dollars a year not the boogie board business.

Enjoyed the commentary, it’s nice seeing a family business, having that background myself. This seems like it would have been alot of fun when I was younger before all my injuries can’t really do that stuff now. But I can definitely see this being alot of fun. I also didn’t consider this until you showed it on the website people sledding with it, which is perfect for where I live. I love the handle placement and being able to have a placements for a camera, really really looks like fun. The fact you have easy storage with it being inflatable Is a bonus. I wish them nothing but success.
Way to overpriced 450 for a boogie board when u can get a really cheap one for like 50 to 100. And why would u want to tandem with someone..I dont get it
