Well…not really. Because Reality TV ISN’T REALITY !! The background had already been cleared and the Sharks already knew what was coming in.
I found this out from an associate who had been on Nanny 911. He and his wife explained how “Reality Shows” are setup.
I appreciate your insight Roy! I’ve known about producers playing God (essentially) with the editing process of “reality” tv shows since the 90’s going back to the Real World. I’m sure it was cleared in some way so they didn’t have an incident on the show that was unwanted or needed. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Never heard of a mushroom allergy! But, I would hope that the producers ask the sharks their dietary requirements, and pass this on to the entrepreneurs.
Shark tank has their shit together. All the sharks list any allergies and special diets they are on. The show tries to make it look like it’s a surprise to the sharks but it was mostly meant for the audience. For example, Mark Cuban is vegetarian. He never would have even tried it if it could be meat.
I was actually wondering the same thing why Mark would try it before the reveal, so I looked it up and found out Shark tank is aware of the sharks dietary issues ahead of time.
I have to say I actually bought this jerky because of this episode and I’m blown away at how much I like it. I only bought the original flavor and can’t wait to try the others.
I’m not vegan or vegetarian at all but would like to. I can’t give up the flavor of meat. It’s shocking how much vegetarian wanna be meat is out there that does a great job at impersonating it.
I live in a small rural town on the Oregon coast and we actually have two stores that have this jerky. I paid $8 for my bag and I’m happy. Apparently it costs them just $1.67 a bag to make. I have little doubt this company is doing well. I plan on buying all the other flavors tomorrow when I go to town.
Mark Cuban does it meat but it’s only to try the product. He has done that multiple times on the show.
