She’s not going into retail, she’s selling service not a product in stores. No upfront costs and no overhead for either her or the retailer.
I wish they’d mentioned the cost if these kiosks
Mmm not sure I’d want to spend 10mins of my shopping time designing a jacket… Might be better to do it in the comfort of your home if you’re gonna spend that much on a whim
It was super sweet that you brought Ava in at the end to design. Such a lovely dad! I was hesitant at the product at first, but Ava really likes it and you guys got to bond. I was so glad when she said ‘I don’t want to get rid of girls are the future!’. I still think that the kiosk idea is no bueno, just keep it D to C. I don’t think though that there will be a lot of return customers only because the price point is SO high. And I agree that they need more patches.
I’d think she’d be better off making some Claire’s exclusive patches – especially those jumbo patches. Or even some pre-designed jackets for different retailers to at least get her name out there and people excited about the patches.
