Anyway, sometimes the Youtube copyright bot likes me to be more aggressive with certain videos. And instead of waiting for them to put the video back up (a week or more in some cases), I just make adjustments and reupload. 🙂
They ended up later posting on their instagram that Cuban partnered with them. Wish I could’ve figured out how that happened.
Also feel the need to point out that this was a VERY big deal in the swimming community. On their instagram story rn they have videos of people having watch parties for this. Magic5 has built up a trust within their target audience very heavily.
Where did you see that they partnered with Mark? I just looked and didn’t see anything about that. If that happened, it would be one of the very few times that it ever has happened. I did see this post that mentions Mark https://www.instagram.com/p/CVo329Dr1uB/ but not sure that is verified.

Thank you John! I appreciate the correction! It’s hard to get all of the names right especially because I’m playing it back at just slightly faster than 1x speed. It sounded like Ross to me in the moment lol. I shoot everything in one take with little to no editing.

I have goggles that fit perfectly and they cost less than $20 but I know I was lucky to find a model that fits. Nike no longer makes that model. I can try my luck with another Nike model but before I spend $55 or $65 on a pair, my main concern is anti-fog and I can’t find anything on their website that addresses that. Peripheral view doesn’t count for much if your view is fogged.
The magic5 goggles I have have been treated with an anti fog sealer. You have to be careful not to touch the inside of the lenses. They come with a good carrying case which offers added protection for the lenses.
I have Magic5 goggles and the anti-fog is the only thing that lets them down. I find I have to rinse the lenses half way through a session. They’re the best goggles I’ve worn though.
The ones I got off Amazon fit me pretty well, but I’m interested in trying these out because it is uncomfortable after a while to wear the ones I got. I appreciate you watching and commenting Daryl!

I’ve tried many other brands of goggles, but now have 2 pairs of yours. They fit me like a glove. Very happy others recognise what you do. Hopefully the price doesnt go up though. Kinda expensive in Australia

Thanks for the video. I have Magic5 goggles but living in Europe, couldn’t watch Shark Tank. They’re great but I don’t know if I’d be willing to pay nearly double – especially when taxes are added on.
I hope that the company continues to manufacture in the US rather than moving to a lower cost region. (Yes, I know some parts come from China.)

I have these goggles nd believe me they are so much better than every other goggles out there, i can see way more and it fits beautifully. I would recommend these to every swimmer out there (im a competitive swimmer)

suits that make you faster exist, theyre called tech suits by most experienced swimmers and all the olympic level athletes wear them, as well as most higher level swimmers at big meets. they can repel water, reduce drag, and provide muscle compression. the problem with with these is that for a good one they can cost around $300-400 for boys, $450-550 for girls (girls suits have more than double the fabric), theyre super tight (take about 20-30 mins to put on and sometimes girls need multiple people helping them to put one on), they rip quite easily because of the tightness and special fabric, and they only last for a few meets before the water repellancy wears off. for experienced and high level swimmers, theyre only worn at big end of season meets so that we can get the fastes time possible, and they work great making it worth the high cost, but for just a recreational swimmer i definitely don’t recommend getting one
Eman27 I have a different type of body after surviving breast cancer. And I don’t wear a prosthesis for water sports. The concept of “one size fits all” for swimsuits could be challenged just as the magic25 team challenged “one size fits all” goggles with their “face modeling” technology. So I wonder if the “one size fits all” in swimsuit technology could also be challenged.
I’m a competitive swimmer and some of my teammates have purchased them…as well. there’s no way they have more than 5 size templates that are being mass produced in China. The Technology they developed it’s not 100% accurate as I have done the scan and there was leaking in my first 25 yards. My friends hated them ; they didn’t work for them either. The goggle has a cool lens that’s not functional as it traps bubbles as you push off the wall. I’d say these are the worst goggles in my 15 years swimming history. You can get a better fit with a reputable brand like Speedo for half the price. I understand they have the Technology which in my mind simply doesn’t work and the sharks forgot to ask what was the charge backs as they needed to refund many ppl. So if they made 1.5 M in SALES but was the TOTAL the company had to refund?

This has not been my experience with these goggles Eddie. I’ve had a great fit and no issues with bubbles pushing off the wall. I have had issues with the Form swim goggles similar to what you’re describing here. I agree that you can get a very good pair of speedo vanquishers for half the price. I also would love to have heard what return % numbers were in the show.
Seeing other comments, you’re the only one saying that. Maybe you didn’t use the app the way it should be used? Like maybe it didn’t get your face well. You should reach out to them and try to redo your face shape and see if it works
Got my indoor/outdoor bundle of TheMagic5 goggles this summer. Been a swimmer my entire life, even in college. No doubt these are the best goggles I’ve ever owned. Wish they were around a lot sooner! They’re the real deal.

Not quite. So normally you wouldn’t take into consideration as part of your cost the customer acquisition cost. You have your gross profit.
Then figure out your other costs: insurance, rent, employee assembly time, handling, packing, equipment depreciation costs, office equipment costs, utilities, etc.
Then you can figure out what you have left to get to your net profit.

That’s a great question. Probably because it’s something you just don’t think about, plus the majority of the market is likely made up of dollar store goggles. I appreciate you watching and commenting Brandon!

A couple of responses to your questions. I reviewed these about a year and a half ago thinking it was a gimmick. I had a video series reviewing all of the top goggles and these won. I’m still wearing them. I just recently ordered a bundle of three. I’m only swimming about 3-4 times per week and I’ll typically change goggles every 6 months or so. I’m sure a lot of athletes swim more and change their goggles out more frequently. People tend to switch out when the anit-fog wears out or they loose them somewhere. I’m not associated with the Magic 5 but I’m happy to answer any questions you have.

It’s a amazing product and to be honest I think they anh shark could of been great but it depends on where they wanted to take the business and with this I can see maybe it can be used for more stuff like maybe for if you climb up a mountain for hiking and you have the right sized goggles for hiking/climbing
I own one pair of the Magic5 goggles and they are hands down the best goggles I have owned. The fit and the field of vision are top notch. The first time I put the goggles on I was amazed at the extension of my peripheral vision. Peripheral vision is a huge plus during an open water swim while racing.
The most irritating thing was that stupid guy pausing and interrupting…. Grrr… I skipped all of that guys talk…

As a swimmer, I have 5 pairs of goggles. I have 2 that are light (for indoors) and 2 that are dark (for outdoors) as well a prescription pair I wear for meets so I can see the board. I will get a pair once they sell prescription goggles
