I watch shark tank a lot (like every season) and they do these type of things mostly for the ratings/drama. They’ve brought back a lot of people who have previously pitched and didn’t get a deal just for them to more than likely not get a deal again. Some of them are set up as underdog stories where the person finally gets a deal a second time because they’ve learned from their mistakes. Some are the entrepreneur didn’t get a deal the first time but they prove the sharks wrong and are successful anyways and come back. Others are set up as they didn’t correct their mistakes so they kinda “embarrass” themselves again and don’t get a deal again. I think there’s more of that one. It’s just entertainment.

Hi, Super Joe. This family appeared in the Tank in season 10 with Kudo Bands, their child rewards product. The older son did most of the talking and delivering of the pitch. I’ve seen the episode rerun several times now. I know one reason they didn’t get a deal was the valuation and profit margin. This time the family seemed disorganized in conveying their message and they talked over each other a lot. I feel there was a lot of edited coverage we didn’t see tonight. I like your comments about pitching the holders just for the expensive breakable ornaments, also pairing up with a large manufacturer. Maybe the two sons with one parent would be willing to speak to you.. Also your blazer is the bomb! Thanks and Happy Holidays, Joe.

I didn’t think that the price was terrible. Some of these ornaments can be quite expensive.

@Joe Pardo That’s 25 bucks. I think that’s a lot. If they did a new season of the show they should have if all the sharks say no they should have a website where regular people can donate to those specific projects. Let’s see if regular people are willing to put up lol.

At that point, it’s just them going to kickstarter. But I don’t know if they sold out that night which essentially the same if they have a product made.
With this business, what I would do is build sales up to around $1m a year, then look to sell the business to someone else, who can take it further. It’s not a business that you will be able to retire with.
Use the time and money in one of your other businesses.
They are doing too much at one ☝️ time.

I actually liked the product, I can definitely see a use for it so that you’re not breaking your ornaments. I have a very simple response to the sharks who had the concerns about them having other business and made the absurd comment of them being scatterbrained my simple responses it’s all about time management. I was actually quite offended when they said that they were scatterbrained. Problem I have with that is the sharks themselves have multiple businesses and they’re going to get on their case because they do as well. I get what in your entrepreneur to be all on the product your investing in but to me it’s a Time Management issue. My issue also remains the fact that I had to run multiple job sites at once doing construction how is that any different? Honestly I just see this as a licensing play approach some of the big ornament companies like you said and see if they’ll add this product to their product line. But no I enjoyed the commentary.
