I have a journal/planner that I belive is the best in the business and have a group/club that I’m catering it to right now and am going to perfect it but would like a long term goal with it.

These folks have a steep road ahead. I don’t think any Shark made an offer because it would take a disproportionate amount of work. Also for a seasonal item used one time it is too costly, plain and simple. Hopefully they can rework the product to lower costs. I hope they make it.
It’s a shame that we couldn’t get our entire story told with that edit. The rising cost of freight is what made our overall cost per unit so high. But this isn’t a long-term issue.. Additionally, we were showing how this item is used all season long, not just once! 🙂

Joe, love the videos. But question, why not span out the uploads over the month? Maybe you have a lot more idk but the more supply in a short amount of time would decrease the demand of each one right? It’s amazing to see how fast you get them out though, very impressive!
That’s a great question! The reason I pump out the newest episode is because the search traffic for these four companies may (likely) never be as high as it is right in the first 4 days of it airing for the first time.

@SuperJoe Pardo Your idea about it being an upsell for pictures with Santa is closer to the marketing strategy Chris and Lisa should consider. I actually think they need to partner with or pitch to post offices, schools, grocery stores and local organisations that engage with the community around the holiday season. It is cost effective for local businesses or organisations that have/want to increase footfall and want to engage with families.

I like the concept I think it’s definitely something that could be fun for the kids. However, the price is way to high. I see this as a product that needs to be demonstrated. I think the previous person they license to screw them especially to have to pay a markup that’s ridiculous. And the fact that they did own their own molds that is a no no. I believe that this could sell given the right marketing play. I think that this should be bundled with another product. I think it’s like you said this should be at every store that has a Santa where you take a photo. That was a really smart idea, but disagree with you a dollar to put a letter in would have been fine. Honestly their best possible advice I would have is go to these department stores and pitch the idea it would be a hell of a lot easier than trying to sell this one at a time let them worry about marketing it. Like if they approached Kohl’s I easily see them going for it because they get it and they understand they can get a return on the investment with amount of foot traffic charging a $1 a letter. But the problem is if you don’t take that approach the only other way I see selling this thing is getting it on a home shopping Network or getting it on a bunch of YouTube influencers to promote the product because they do have a good product. On a personal note, I would get my molds out of that manufacturer and come and bring it back to America and start over with a different manufacturer perhaps smaller margins in the beginning but they will get there. I think the most you could sell this product for and even then it’s pushing it it’s $30 maybe even $24.95. but maybe I’m wrong.

People pay 29.99 and even 39.99 for a magical elf that cost .10 cents to make. Lol. This product costs a lot to make , no matter how you look at it. Thank you for the kind words though!
