Bot detection is a thing for actual desirable items such as the Travis Scott shoes that were mentioned… That proved just how out of touch the sharks and the “developers” are considering the entry to try to purchase said shoes already takes seconds without a bot lol. I can’t believe they got a deal. Even if a person were to run multiple tasks for items on random sites it doesn’t mean that they’re going to be successful. A lot of people think botting is just pressing a button and magically purchasing whatever you want. People are lazy nowadays and fail to prepare ahead of time so they blame everything on bots. Most of the time it’s just other humans beating out other humans.
Try getting a ps5. It took 2-3 years before anyone can easily get one.

Those are pre orders. Even pre orders couldn’t fulfill millions. Supply issues.

To answer your question 15:20 if I were Rubin, I’d invest in these guys, get a better/deeper understanding of their software and perhaps defeat it, repackage and sell to other companies who want to stop the bots too from purchasing everything.
The software is not open source mate, am not sure he can “defeat” it and “repackage” it – Thats a very expensive lawsuit and am not sure he would like that
