Her brand is the best! I think the biggest thing we are seeing on shark tank is it’s a lot more recruitments these days who are already successful businesses and don’t necessarily need the help. She said that they reached out to her to be on the show so she didn’t apply herself
That’s an interesting detail to know, thanks for sharing. It felt more like an entrepreneur success story/informercial than an actual pitch. Sophie has achieved great success and I’m glad the sharks didn’t make her an offer. Investment isn’t right for every business — in some cases it can have unintended effects.

This woman clearly does not suffer from real anxiety or emotional trauma. Her brand doesn’t really do anything to improve the mental health landscape either, its just merchandise. She’s just found a way to capitalize off of a current trend that is the topic of mental health and well being. Wearing a hoodie that says emotional is not going to cure your anxiety or depression, you’re just going to over pay for a sweat shirt, take a selfie wearing it and move on to the next thing. I know how cynical it sounds but its true.
You really never know what goes on behind the scenes, sure you may be right but most people who emotional trauma choose not show it and hide it
She never claimed it was going to cure depression or anxiety. It’s to bring awareness to mental health issues… because many people kinda like you, assume people don’t have these issues lol. I have one of her sweatshirts myself, the Emotional one and I wear it with pride bc emotional is what I am (people will say I’m a cry baby & that’s okay) You shouldn’t make an assumption that she doesn’t deal with these issues just bc she has a successful business. People deal with things differently and also change within the years to know how to deal with them. Kinda rude of you.
Mental health is something that isn’t talked about and to me no one has a good understanding of it because it’s not talked about. There is always different forms of mental health so you really wouldn’t know unless someone told you. Her brand isn’t for curing or any of that it’s just showing, “hey I have anxiety and that’s okay because that normal” it’s more about being comfortable with your issues and making it normal because it is and it’s common and that’s okay.

Her success must be due to the fact that she mastered social media, does limited drops, and the price point isn’t that high cuz her product isn’t exactly unique. I’ve seen clothes with the same phrases everywhere; just go to urban outfitters. Props to her for figuring out the business and strat side of things though! Super impressive.

She looks like a female Elon Musk and can work a crowd just as well. Good for her, shes doing great.
I’d love to see her donate a great portion of her profits, once established of course, to research and implementation of mental health support projects for the underprivileged and uninformed sections of the world’s societies. That’s how she should pay back for the growth she has seen off the current rise in awareness. The business itself is fairly without a moat BUT all that reason cannot take away from the incredible leap of faith in self and relentless execution. Kudos to the young woman!

I don’t think she went on the show to really get a business partner, this is free advertisement to get her business to a much wider audience than on her social media. I love her brand and her vlogs, she’s a great business woman.

There’s no way she made enough profit on $500 worth of stickers (while also paying whatever necessarry bills for her life) to fund this company. She’s leaving out something major here..
Lol the equation is simple. She lived and I believe still does live with her family. So her overhead costs were nil until she rented her first warehouse space. Prior to then she was using her parents basement but her demand is too much for her to now only use the basement.
Lesson to learn? Support your kids and assist them in reaching success rather than tossing them out at 18.

Pin point Your vision suggestions, dont make the long talk while there is an important moment on the screen. You come as this ad on the movie that no one want to see. I unserstand she’s been spending a lot of time on social media is because of her anxiety. I’m the same way, it’s easier for me to express myself on social media where I just get choked up and panic when I talk to people in person.
