The kids thought it was disgusting. When he asked them “Would you still eat this?”, the kids put their hands up… Jamie Oliver was in shock – he thought he had turned kids off chicken nuggets! 9:05 – I don’t know if you have it in the USA, but in the UK, some of these diet drinks, or diet foods will say *”CAN HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT* – as part of a balanced diet”.
Yeah, I really dislike the “only I can possibly do this task correctly because I am so special!” attitude. I see this a lot in my work as an engineer, often by people who hoard work to try to make themselves look indispensable to management. It’s really hard to work productively with people of this mindset, and for that reason alone, I wouldn’t invest in them.
For me to take this channel and your opinion with more credibility then you can’t always be a cheerleader for a entrepreneur. EVERY idea isn’t investable. I know you invite the entrepreneurs on but it’s ok if you disagree with their product, their strategy or the deal they didn’t or did take. That makes for more interesting viewing than just saying every product is great and every product is investable and how the Sharks are always missing an opportunity by not investing.
@Joe Pardo I appreciate the reply and I can also appreciate you rooting for the success of every entrepreneur. However, sometimes it’s in the entrepreneurs best interests to find another idea or product. We see it on America idol where people audition who are horrible singers but their friends and family chose not to give them the honest truth. I would rather for someone to tell me it’s a bad idea so I can have a chance to pivot before I invest everything in it. The sharks aren’t always missing out and everyone doesn’t always have a great idea. That being said I do find your channel interesting, I would just like more diversity. They’re worth $9 million as of July 19, 2022 according to Gazette Review website
Yet we don’t know what their profits are off of that $9 million with her level of perfection. 5% would be about $450,000. It’s enough for a small business but that’s not a lot for 9 million
It should do okay if they keep it moderately sized- it supports their family and jobs in a few local communities. That’s a pretty good and typical small business.
They’re kind of caught in the catch – 22. That level of perfection is impossible scale, she can’t let go of the quality control. That’s the whole schtick of her product.
