Why would you feel the need to dub this “mansplaining” instead of simply explaining?

@Joe Pardo OK thanks I didn’t watch that as I’d seen her on the actual program. It was pretty far from mansplaining since they expect a negotiation and she didn’t simply refuse to lower her valuation, she basically “countered” with the same valuation. There were no sexist connotations to it, rather it seemed clear that anyone would have received that response as they truly expect to negotiate not simply be presented yes or no opportunities. It’s important to keep in mind that you are only seeing 8-10 minutes of an interaction that took place over 45 or more minutes with Shark Tank and then edited down. So only a handful of people know all of what was said.
With all that said, I didn’t see it as mansplaining either when I did the review initially.
