Man USA is a big Country, If Colorado doesn’t have much water. Then don’t make it produce crops.
I’d be extreme and say Pools should be banned
Don’t use water that’s from underground (It will be depleted soon) Buy it from another state. Use woke power to subsidize that supply chain towards that water trade.
it doesn’t make sense!
It’s like Germany (Winter Country) double downing on Solar Energy.
He’s the real life version Kenny from the Walking Dead game with a softer heart. Wish we have more people like Johnny in this world.
One of the best pitch which i loved and watched more than 20 times.. thanks for reviewing.
I saw this one like a decade ago. Thanks for covering this one! This was an especially memorable one. Poor farmer
he can easily sell a billion of these and make a billion dollars 1 dollar profit is good. if you got scale. think of all the citrus trees in america..
this is 1 of my favorite products ever show on the show.
No you can’t. You need people to sell the product for you, marketing, customer service etc. Scaling a business costs money.
1 dollar profit is good for 1 person clown. Do you understand anything Kevin was saying. If he wants to sell those 1 billion trees he needs workers. He can’t do it alone. That’s why Kevin said he needs 2000 johnnys to sell those trees. 1 dollar profit is nowhere near enough to pay those 2000 workers.
Hug a Farmer
What a jerk… Tearjerker that is! Mad love
Yeah it is! 🙂
Absolutely!! I appreciate you as always Farmer Jeff!
Hey Joe, I thought your title for this episode was really “clickbait-ey”. There wasnt much focus on what kevin said and tbh what he said wasnt all that bad, just realistic if you want to get in bed with a distributor who will want to make a profit
Just giving my two cents for what it’s worth. Keep up the super work!
its nice to see a company not gouging its customers with 3000% profit margins like other companies do.
Maybe the most memorable pitch (and I think I have seen them all).
Blessings
Oh my god Johnny is so cute. Classic good guy trying to “do good to the farmers”
So glad John Paul stepped up to save the day. Thanks for covering this pitch Joe!
When looking at the profit margins, no one’s thinking about how far down they can drive the manufacturing costs with volume. Right now, working within five counties selling 127,000 units it cost $2.50 to make each one
Pump that up to 3-4 million units expanding outside of those counties and especially California, Arizona, New Mexico.
I would imagine he can drive his cost down below a dollar per unit
The customer acquisition cost is not based on per unit-but per thousands of units. So I don’t think you should hike this up to $12 per-
should not be gouging
Based on his story, about 40% of 127,000 units he’s sold, went to that one woman who wanted 50,000 total
And although they’re designed to last five years, they’ll crack, get dirty, need replacing.
Municipalities and towns maybe purchasing these, we don’t need to be gouging the taxpayers to save water.
This is a great idea, providing it doesn’t lead to root rot, nor mess with mother nature.
That’s such a good point. I was also wondering if usually they have one sprinkler per tree?
Kevin could easily stand behind this guy and a good cause, but no, instead he has no problem backing scoundrels like FTX scammers.. says a lot about him
I appreciate you watching and commenting peptide.
I’m so happy he got an offer. Started off nervous end handled it like a champ, ended it off like a CHAMP….
I grew up on a farm…this is the best shark tank episode, presentation for me, personally!
Possibly my favorite Shark Tank experience. Does anyone know how it turned out?
company worth 100 million today and tree t pe is sold in 80 countries
JP is a an enigma on this earth, the only billionaire that gives solid life advice that you can apply right away and truly live by.Amazing how he’s not super famous or known compared to other billionaires but his brands are. His advice truly works and he’s probably the only billionaire in a room of billionaires who would have invested in this guy because he understands how important food and farmers is more than money.
God bless Johnny. This man deserves everything good he gets
I have the pleasure of saying that Mr
Georges is a good acquaintance of mine. He is one of the most down to earth people you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. I can definitely say that he is as humble in person as he is on this video.
I’m so glad to hear that. I appreciate you watching and commenting James!
I used to spin micro jets at George’s enterprises back in the 80’s with my buddies, Ben and Brad. Johhny was like our big brother.
Just saw the most important pitch made on shark tank
bro please shut up. we all js clicked this vid only because og vid got taken down. no one rly here to see u bud lmao
I appreciate you Ye.
I think you are sorely mistaken about the margin that farmers have to work with, and government subsidies to farmers can often make or break their farm. The price of food going up isn’t because farmers are driving around in Benz and BMW, it’s because of fuel prices and taxes. Farmers are like Johnny, they make enough to feed their families and get by. They try to do right by their communities, just good honest hard working people, you genuinely can’t find in a city anymore.
John Paul definitely earned my respect. Such a great act.
I used to work for Johnny’s dad l, Rick, in the 80’s.
When you findout why good Ole Johnny ain’t overpaying is all the reason farmers will always back that man. Was a genius decision by him in honor of his pops. He raised a good man
The sharks are sht. John Paul saved the day
Bro just shut the fuck up and let the video play
I appreciate you James. This is a business education channel.
The looks on these sharks faces is appalling. He’s a farmer but he ain’t dumb. He ain’t dumb because he has an innovative product. He’s not dumb because he’s there seeking those distribution lines. Why do these people who live in their ivory towers look down on the Jonnys of the world?
It’s people like Johnny that make this world a better place. Thank you Johnny!
You’re difficult to watch Joe. Nice story, but….
I appreciate you watching and commenting. This is a business education channel.
@@SuperJoePardo it’s not the topic
I appreciate you watching and commenting. What would you say happened?
I appreciate you watching and commenting. The government subsidizes plenty of other things, why not increased food efficiency?
I agree with how out of reality the sharks look when they hear the guy is only selling to 5 counties. What do expect from the guy. We aren’t all well connected CEO’s.
It’s sad that a 1$ per unit isn’t good. We have become such a country of consuming everything so quickly and without a thought of what we are doing. I mean just look at the waste of k cups. Yet we could all get a reusable cup and by coffee but we don’t. Even tho that much cheaper and better for the environment.
Sorry for ranting joe. But again the reason this isn’t a product already is because it only helps the farmer right. By it helping the farmer with cost it is now going to effect what the California water department is going to get and then that goes back to even bigger government higher ups. It’s an awful game we play with why some products don’t make it to market and other crazy loopholes and who knows.
All of you lazy POS DEI babies should watch this
This is saying a lot, considering he went on national television and said that he should be able to not pay his taxes and that being a crook is just part of the business
Anyone else just looking for the shark tank clip then suddenly this random guy pops in like ding ding ding something something something dark side?
I appreciate you watching and commenting Jesse. This is a business education channel.
I hate these edits. I’m sure he had to stand the while the Sharks did multiple takes, but he gets edited into a fool.
THEY COST $10
Four of the sharks need to remember life its not all about money. I hope what they witnessed is a wake up call to change their minds and help others change the world for the better.
God bless our farmers ❤
Why do these people have to commentate Jesus
I appreciate you Kenneth. This is a business education channel.
Johnny is a true American that power this country during it’s beginning to what it is now. Kevin is a snake who’s currently destroying everything that is great about the country just so they can hoard money to fill his empty soul.
